These are kind of deals we should go for, make the transfers a mix of star players and upcoming /potential stars. This was how we signed chiellini from fiorentina, Bonucci from inter/Bari, Barzagli from wolfburg/parlemo, dybala from parlemo, vidal from leverkusen, asamoah from udinese etc. They were not statement signings like Thuram, Nedved, Buffon etc but they complimented the dynamics of the team and some became club icons.
I never understood why Koop is main target when we need two full back, a center back, few wingers, specially with enough much midfielder in the squad, is he that much special player and i’m not understanding it? cabal is a very strong player he likes to go body to body so he slams into the opponent with his body and as a result the opponent loses his balance very strong in aerial duels and a good passer of long balls
The fact that nobody knew Calafiori since the last games or Serie A last year, it's super important to remember, bravo Beppe. You never know where the next big jewel hides!
This is as great pickup and long awaited investment at left fullback. Seems like a good alternative to Cambiaso or even potential complement if they can play together

Rugani sale makes a lot of sense now. Sensible on books, younger, probably same level, left-footed, a backup who can multiple roles. Giuntoli is a genius. And btw, I really, really like Rugani, and he was a consistent backup for three years, but this is better.
