While it’s nothing new, I'm with ya. It’s a character from a video game called “Cult of the Lamb.” I’m a bit appalled at how cutesy they made all kinds of evil in that game.

You are taking this wayyy too seriously. The cult of the lamb is NOT a kids game and is marketed as such, not every cartoon or animation is for kids. Imagine letting a 5 year old watch South Park because well "It's a cartoon so its for kids" You should probably watch gameplay from the game before spreding judgement on it too, the whole don't judge a book by it's cover is perfect here
