What actually is the "best" weight loss diet?
Is paleo better than plant-based or Mediterranean?
Are low carb or ketogenic diets better than low fat diets?
Is intermittent fasting like alternate-day fasting or the 5:2 diet better than continuous energy restricted diets? What about time-restricted feeding?
Let's look at what the research says, on short-term outcomes vs long-term outcomes and why focusing on what is "best" may actually be doing you a disservice.
