Skyler Smith woah there skyler. You sound extremely ignorant. First of all people from Brazil, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Colombia etc can all be Latino. Being Latino doesn’t mean you’re from Mexico. Second of all pole dancing is an art form and isn’t only done just in strip clubs. Jlo was full clothed throughout the duration of her performance as well. I understand that other people might see our culture as too sensual but that doesn’t mean you have to look down on it and insult it.

Yes, they killed it, they killed any pretense that women should be respected, not sexualized, looked up to and seen as equals. It is so disappointing, women worked so hard to try to get to that, only to throw it all away by gyrating and stripper dancing. 2 beautiful, talented ladies and they couldn't take 12 minutes to show young girls that you can keep your clothes on and be respectful of yourself and STILL ROCK THIS THING! just sad, so, so, sad! Such a missed opportunity!

@@Natureoutdoorsyquest I don't think I said Shakira did a strip dance. However, her dress and moves were highly sexualized, if you don't see that I have to wonder what show you watched. Look, our society and culture is teaching young girls to dress provocatively, dance provocatively, speak provocatively, and sing provocatively, and then get highly offended when some guy disrespects them. It literally makes no sense. All I am saying is that for 12 minutes, when you knew kids would be watching by the millions you had a chance to provide a positive view of talent and beauty and you chose to make it sexual. I find that sad.

What an incredible performance!! I watched it at the airport in toronto as i was getting ready to operate a flight and i was crying tears of hapiness for her! I felt immense pride for Jen and i swear I must have danced all the way to my gate! Once i got home I watched it again with my daughter who is 3 and her words were " She's so beautiful mama" I began to tear up and say yes she is mama! A role model for my baby to look up to!

I am already past 50, am 63 and have no desire to look like her, anymore, anyway, since I live in a small town in Texas and there are no single men my age, since I am single, never married,no kids. @@alexandraxox Well, kinda sorta, some days, I do, some days, I don't. I look okay, for a woman, my age, I guess. I looked really good, both physically and facially, back when I was in my early to mid-40's, but that seems like a lifetime ago to me. Time goes by so fast in our life, it really does. And once it's gone, you can't get it back, unfortunately. Take so much medication and have alot of aches and pains that keep me awake at night, too. I doubt seriously if these two people know what that is like or what that feels like, yet.
