Shoutout to anybody who made it all the way through the end! This is probably our most asked question so we wanted to really give a detailed breakdown of this specific airbrush we use daily! Love yall #toothpickgang
What type of paint do you use ? I’m new to this .. so I know there’s some type of paint and mixture your suppose to use and I was wondering what’s the best ones
Sorry, but I am disappointed to inform you of your misuse of the word, “your”. I believe you meant to say “you’re”, as these are commonly mixed. You see, “your” is a possessive word, and I am afraid one cannot obtain a “super helpful” if you will. There is another spelling of this word which you have attempted to use. However, this is, of course, “you’re” which is a conjunction of the common words of “you” and “are”. I am pleased to announce that I have disclosed this case and this will go unnoticed on your resume, unlike your mother’s mistake those many years ago. I do hope that we may move forward from this obstruction and not make this same mistake. Thank you for your levels of cooperation and I would be glad to set this aside.
John Ramsey ahhh yes of course, thank you for the correction, but I was simply in a hurry and very much not worried of my choice of words on a yt comment section. Buttt thank you for reading my comment I’m sure it gave you something to do, since you clearly don’t have anything better. Althoughhhh your input was correct I already know how to use you’re and your. Thank you and you’re welcome sir.
After watching for 2 years and going I finally bought it! Last thing I need is a vinyl cutter!! I’m making due with what I have now though. Thank you so much man.
I would love it if you could go through some taping techniques for airbrushing. It seems like I'm always accidently getting over spray under the tape or missing corners/edges. Thanks for the airbrushing video, it was perfect!
dude, i believe teaching is a big part of your future. i believe i can read people and their talents and you are as good as anyone i have seen. thank you for sharing your knowledge rob
My exact setup. I've had my badger patriot 105 and central pneumatic compressor for 3 year's and never had an issue with it. I use the badger brand hose tho and had to buy the adapter for the compressor.
@@gswpower7098 the name of the machine is cameo silhouette... and the software is called silhouette studio.. he either uses basic edition studio or mint studio
Thanks for this video!!! I've been using my brush for about 7 months now and it continually sprays air...I figured that little needle was full of paint and didn't allow the trigger to compress and decompress...which caused air and paint to flow as soon as I turned on the compressor!! This video confirmed it!! Now I know I can simply replace that part...or just clean it real good!! Your channel is awesome!!!
Actually just picked up my first airbrush set up today. Definitely going to be going through your videos. Super informative. You got a subscriber out of me.
Thank you! This video is PRECISELY what I was looking for. You covered just enough details while keeping the video from getting too lengthy. Looks like I'll be taking a trip to Harbor Freight this weekend.
Thanks I just ordered the Patriot 105 and started to have 2nd thoughts about getting this model. Im glad I came across your video I feel more confidence on my purchase.
Appreciate the tutorial @DeJesus Custom Footwear . Thankz... You really break it down that it's simply impossible for any beginners to go wrong. I should know because I myself am a beginner who has learned alot from your videos since I've gotten started with this lil new hobby of customizing kickz now. I can't express it enough myself how thankful I am for all the valuable information you've shared with us (the fans of customized kickz & kickz overall). We owe you & many others like yourself a huge thanks... So again Thank you... Keep it up bro. I'll be sure to stay tuned in and to let others know to tune in... Love is love #toothpickgang 💯
Hi..it's artistic abilities!..been away for a while trying to work on my own stuff along side with family bad news ect...great video BTW. .I use badger airbrushes (I have 2) I used to airbrush t shirts in school n still have them.both was around £100/£140 when I got them..this video will help allot of people..thanks for your good work and consistent content.big love man✌💚
I have a badger anthem 155 and wanna start painting shoes and ghettoblasters. I’ve only used acrylic paints on canvas so far. What type of paint do you uses on shoes? Does it make a difference if the shoe is real leather or synthetic (I don’t think I’m ready to practice on Jordan’s)? Is there any big advantages to using a gravity feed over my syphon? I just found your channel today and it’s great 👍
Just got this airbrush in and I noticed mine came with a card that says.. Your lro production series airbrush features a newly designed field changeable/adjustable inner seal screw assembly part number is R-0023. Im trying to figure out what part has changed. Lol just my luck. Im loving these videos.
I hope someone can answer this even though this video is crazy old. I bought the exact airbrush an compressor you suggested. I can’t seem to get any type of fine line what so ever. I have seen there is replacement needles and would like to get one but, I was curious what needle you use for the work you do? Your lines an all that seem to be fine. Finer than mine lol. If someone could get back to me, that’d be amazing
The moisture thing on it mine has a lot of moisture in it should I get a new one ? It’s like yellow in there how do I stop that from happening if I do buy a new one ?
Let me save you alot of the headache (and money in the ling run) I went through trying Paasche, Harder, Badger, etc... Save your money and just buy the higher end Iwata. High-performance, Hi-Line etc... In the bigger picture, they are really not that much more expensive. The 105 should not even be in a comparison with that kind of quality and precision. Nothing stays as clean or atomizes paint like them. I have had my latest Iwata for over a year now and have never had to take the nozzle off to clean etc..., to date. Everything is just so highly machined, paint just has a much harder time clogging anything up. I have no affiliation with any brand, just a hobbyist who got tired of mediocrity.
first congratulations on the work and share this information with us. Second, do you use paint for fabric? Or another guy, could you give me the name? Thanks
I give up lol I can't put it back together. Thr needle is giving me the issue with the trigger amd little piece with the trigger. I'll stick with a brush.
Thanks for the vid! Been struggling to set my gear. If you’re using a 0.50 nozzle, what psi do you set your compressor and how much 2-thin do you mix with Angelus paints? I know Angelus says 1 part 2-thin and 4 parts paint. Doesn’t work for me. I tried 1:1 mix like you mentioned in another video but compressor at 60 psi - got severe spattering. Hope you can help with the magic numbers please!!!
First of all amazing video, very informative; I ordered all of the corresponding equipment but when the compressor arrived it didn’t come with a hose to connect the airbrush to the compressor. Did anyone else have this issue and if so could anyone inform me of an ultimatum, any information would be highly appreciated!!
Great video. Although u Should use a lil wrench when taking off the end cap. Pliers have ridges which scratch the metal. I learned the hard way. Lol!👊🏼
Just painted some old Prada sneakers but my god painting with a brush takes way too long and it's hard to get an even coat. Definitely getting an airbrush for my next shoes.
I'm in Europe is something like this with these characteristics look good for work Power: 1/6 HP (Horse power) Operating mode: 220 - 240 V, 50 Hz Piston stroke speed: 1450 rpm Air flow: 20-23 L/min Dimensions: 330 mm x 145 mm x 310 mm Weight: 5 kg Power cable length: 1.7 m Hose connection: 3/8" sliced thread Single-step switch: develops pressure up to 4 bar, after which it switches off. Auto power on 3 bar. A pressure regulator Adjustments of the output pressure of 0.2 to 4 bar Manometer Air humidifier Compressor tank 3 L Safety valve (activated over 6 bar) Thank you
I’ve never used a airbrush before and have only just started looking into getting one, what’s the difference between a £100 and £400 airbrush, is more expensive better or is it just branding ?
Do you have to use a compressor with the patriot-105? Do you use a compressor with gravity fed airbrushes? Why is he showing us a compressor? This might be a stupid question sorry
Hey @DeJesus i really hope you help me with this one i dont have that type of compressor and shop you have in your location however i live in UK and i’ve seen many similar ones like that and idk which one to buy and i really need a compressor because ive bought a badger patriot already and all i need is the compressor
If you do not leave the paint enough time to dry in between layers, will it eventually crumble when worn, even if you do prep and finishing work properly?! also, was to seal the shoe without how you typically do it?
Hey I'm pretty new to customs and just got an airbrush! I was don't have any 2-thin at the moment but I do have some 2-soft. I'm just wondering if I can use that or if there are any alternatives to thin the paint so I don't ruin my air brush. (I use angelus leather paint btw) any feedback would be appreciated ✌🏻️😊
2 soft is strictly for making the paint ready to paint on fabrics, if you can find another brands airbrush medium it would be suitable but not ideal since you want to use the products made by angelus when using angelus paints
DeJesus Custom Footwear also if I were to use my airbrush for a the matte finisher j have would I need a thinner for that or is that fine because it's not actual paint? Sorry for the questions
Hey I found out I have the store here where I live might buy it thank you but quick last question before I buy it do I have to mix anything with the paint before I poor it in the airbrush or do I just put in the paint I want and I start painting ?????
Hey bro sick work you do nice videos you make caswell have a question though. Where can I get a cheaper but good airbrush and compressor combo.. is there one someone can recommend me from amazon?
If I cannot find both the point zero nor central pneumatic compressor online since I live outside the US. Are there any alternatives that offers the same psi with brands like Iwata or sparmax?
Pro tip: the iwata neo is also a great beginner brush. And if you get it from hobby lobby with the coupon on the website you can get it for around $30 . And if you don’t believe you can watch the thousand other videos that recommend this brush. Ps not hating just saying
i have the same compressor etc with the moisture trap, but a different gun. sometimes when i paint it would spray out splatter even occasionally sprays out water, any tips?
Hey man I have the same compressor but mine seems to turn off when it reaches the psi then I spray and it will turn back on to fill it back is that normal
@@brandenquijas4127 oh that can really vary just like getting a tattoo. You can find some anywhere from 100-300, but you’ll also find pairs that are 2,000-3,000. Just depends whah you’re looking for
I believe a majority of the typically airbrush hoses you’d snag would need this adapter for badger airbrushes ... but lots of other airbrushes like iwata wouldn’t need it
