Way to go Chico. I'm jumping on your bandwagon. I gained weight after an illness a couple years ago, now I have 40 lbs. I never owned in my life. I know you can do it and expect you, like a lot of people, will beat diabetes. Thanks for inspiring me.

I have an amazing book that i would like you to read "Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes", there`s a ton of useful information in this book. All i`m trying to say is "give low fat high carb vegan diet a try", you won`t regret it :) Chico i really hope you get better soon, cause i want to see a smile on that face!!

you have no idea how close this have just hit home 4 weeks ago I got the same news I was told I had type 2 diabetes my liver wasn't working properly and I had arthritis in both thumbs causing me pain when I do cheffing... so I'm unable to do the job I've been doing for 20 years and also I can no longer eat salt,sugar or drink alcohol :) yeah it's fun isn't it.. i would love to find out what you have done and how it went how do you feel ? did you find any problems ?
