Really enjoy your reaction! Ronnie's mother was an addict and left the family when he was young. Ronnie had addiction problems ( he been completely sober for over 14 years) Ronnie's afraid the his daughter,Willow will inherit the addiction gene. Remember this is all a dream.
"You've been asleep for a very long time" was said 3 times in the last 2 videos, the first 2 in Losing My Life, and the last one in the last scene of Drugs, Willow with her eyes glowing. "I am your reflection. You've been asleep for a very long time." "It's 2033, Dad. You've been asleep for a very long time."
I second "Coming Home". Also try "Superhero". If you pay close attention during this trilogy, he mentions several of his songs by title. Coming Home, Rolling Stone, Alone, Superhero. "Losing my Life": I'm a rolling stone I'm coming home But I'm not alone Also, he says in "Losing my Mind": "I am not a Superhero". I just love how he ties things together.
I ❤ ur reaction 2 this, it was epic especially when Corey Taylor appeared out of nowhere. This song is Ronnie finally being in control as he chainsaws the destructive (blonde) Ronnie. The backstory 4 his mother's part is that; both his parents were addicts, his mother abandoned them when Ronnie was a baby. His father got clean & sober in order 2 raise Ronnie & his brother by himself. Ronnie did get addicted 2 black tar heroin then went to prison for 2 1/2yrs where he got clean. To my understanding is that it took him quite a while 2 4give her then he got the chance 2 meet her but she was already sick due 2 the drugs. So when Ronnie says 'this is my 1st hello & my last goodbye' he actually meant it. When he broke down, that was him realizing that he could've passed the addictive predisposition down 2 Willow & that scares him. Sorry it's soo long lol
You know you have a great chorus when those headphones go flying LOL! 3:21 Fun fact the drummer in this video is CC from Black Veil Brides, amazing band to check out!
I think that is a misconception. I heard the same thing, but that doesn't jive with the seriousness of the crime (violating parole). I heard later that he had a dream he would die in 2033.
