Apathy and Democracy cannot co-exist, I get that. The same goes for confusion or hate cannot co-exist with Democracy. It seems easier to purge the apathy than the confusion or hate. I will add Bias to the confusion and fear to the hate. The stakes seem higher than ever, yet they always seem higher every election. Is the feeling of higher stakes part of the confusion, or what? I fear the stakes are higher than ever now regardless of any bias or fear.
