Every mechanic should carry a policy on their tools in a form of a rider on their homeowner policy or whatever. A lot of talk on knock off tools, chrome vs impact, etc etc …. I’ve always said as long as ya have the tool to do the job and to do the job right the first time is the key factor. I’ve found it’s nice to have a mix of cheap vs expensive because as time goes on each one will have a purpose. And the other advise for a new tech is to always plan ahead and know the tools you will need in the future, could save ya thousands in the long run. Great box … one I wish I had when I was just getting in the game … ive bought the Matco 33 and it seems to be holding up ok on belts … lol

It’s your money so spend it how u want it, I see nothing wrong with ur set up, I’ve been working on trash trucks for 2 different companies for a little over 3 years and I came from automotive. I still have my OG husky box, I think my next purchase will be a professional box. 💯

Not being a mechanic myself, I see things from a different angle here. Will is not slovenly dressed and he keeps his work area tidy and his tools of the trade well organized. This makes for a good impression. If I were a new customer, I would probably prefer Will to service my vehicle.

When craftsman sold that lang rethreader kit you could find them under $50. I won't hold my breath on the warranty though
