Nicely explained. I'm in America one day I'm going to travel to England and do this. It sounds like a complete thrill. We have arts and music here, of course, but nothing quite like The Proms. What a great entertainment tradition. And it's nice that so many of these musical performances are available online and on RU-vid.

I live in Los Angeles and recently discovered the Proms which is a great find and have enjoyed several full concerts on RU-vid. . Am a total fan and love all the concerts and John Wilson especially. Thank you, London!

Thanks for the explanation, I hope I'll be able to attend someday! I can't help but wonder what the plans for the proms are this year, with Covid and the lockdowns still going on.
