Whether you are staying in Blue Mountain Beach, Rosemary Beach, or anywhere in between along Scenic Highway 30A in South Walton County, Florida, one of the thrills so many enjoy is the freedom to cruise through the coastal towns on a golf cart or LSV (low speed vehicles).
Several of these communities have restrictions regarding golf cart use, and it is a common question among visitors concerning where they are allowed to be driven. The famous coastal community of Seaside limits golf carts and LSVs to the commercial district only, while Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach restrict the use of them completely.
Traveling from town to town is a lot of fun, but can also be dangerous. Pease make sure to obey all local and state laws, and make sure to never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol. All passengers, especially children, must be securely buckled at all times. And no golf carts are allowed on any public roadways with posted speed limit signs over 35 mph, or on any private road.
