hello david i need help well i have given c1 exam and still not recieved my hard copies of result so how can i request to languagecert that they send me my result hard copies please help me out... thanks
Try contacting customerservice@peoplecert.org . Apart from that you could try to find out if there is a school that is linked to LanguageCert in your country. I am sure the hard copies will arrive but sometimes it is the hands of the delivery system. David
Morning David, I'm sorry for writing a coment below this video in order to reach you but since this is the most recent one from you I decided to do so. I am a psychology student who lives in Valmez which is a small town you surely know. The reason I'm trying to cantact you is that I'm willing to take a C2 level of English exam and I was wondering whether it is possible or not to ask you which exam is better in your opinion (Cambridge or LanguageCert) and why. My next question would be what preparation except learning university vocab you think should be done before taking this exam. As you can see, notwithstanding my confidence in taking the exam, there are some doubts in my mind I want to get rid of and I need to be assured that I really want to do it. Some people say that C2 is very difficult compared to B2, others say it is not. Do you think that a person certificated for B2 level of English can pass a CPE exam or should C1 be done first? Thank you for your time and your attention. Sincerely, Daniel
Hi Daniel, so I will give you a brief answer. First of all the Cambridge exam qualifications are more widely recognised by universities and employers than the Languagecert exam qualifications. There is nothing wrong with the LanguageCert exams, in fact I think some of their exam methods are better than Cambridge's. There is lots of material online which can be used for studying and assessment of your level in English. Just search C2 level English tests. Of course C2 is the highest level so expect it to be difficult. It is not necessary to take the C1 first if you are confident that your level is C2. Have we met as I see you are from Val Mez ? David
I once actually had the opportunity to listen to you back when I was visiting GFP, I changed high school soon after that so I'm pretty positive about you not remembering me as it's been like 6 years already. We might meet again due to circumstances I shouldn't be telling anyone about yet if I want everything to work properly. But if we meet, I will certainly let you know for it would be a pleasure for me to have the chance to chat with a native speaker and to maybe discuss the English exams I am going for. I might have one more question: Is there any difference between a "pass" and a "high pass" when taking those exams? .. I mean in the future, does a high pass make things easier or is it just for the candidates to know how good they actually are? Thank you for the advice and answeres you gave me, I appreciate it a lot. Daniel
Acceptable for what ? A pass ? If that is your question then yes usually 151 out of 200 is a pass but I don't know which exam you took etc. so it is difficult for me to comment. D
I want to know something ….. I got 25 marks in language Cert speaking…… bht I did my 99% what is this???? This isn’t fair……😢😢😢😢😢 I’m soo upset what should I do now.
