I found a Buffalo Trace store pick I'm loving!! Found it at Liquor Locker in Evansville, IN. I ended up buying 2 more. $34 is an awesome price in my area. I went to Green River distillery yesterday. Full proof was $49.99 there.
It’s all subjective, but I think the B520 is easily better. And there’s at least a couple pirate bottles I’ve had that top it too. It’s not top 5, but it’s definitely top 10. It’s a great time for whiskey 🥃
Some good stuff there...my rotation as of late is Eagle Rare (both regular release and a store pick that's fruit forward), Old Forester full proof store pick I found at Gelson's in Santa Barbara, and Benchmark full proof. I've got some 1792 small batch and Heaven Hill 7yr BIB calling my name once a few of the previous bottles are emptied. Keep up the good work guys
Could you please snip out the 16:10-16:23 segment and turn that into a short please 🤣. My wife and I heard that live…and now I want to replay it over and over and over!
Outstanding as always guys. I am really liking the Green River Full Proof. I got a bottle last week and I need to get a backup ASAP. Thank you and keep up the great work. Cheers...
@@vinole6532 Thanks for the conformation man. I was kinda shocked he was willing to do the trade because I love JD 12 as well, and that may be one of the best ECBP's for years to come. Sometimes people care more about the label than the liquid I guess?
I just finished a Blue Note UC/UF Pick at 124 proof. It’s rumored to be Green River juice. If you’ve had one, how do you think it compares to their new Full Proof.
From what I can gather is Blue Note contract distills at green river and ages in Memphis. So I believe it's different mash bill. But from that being said, I like the GR better than BN UC/UF. On a different note I like the regular Juke Joint better than the regular Green River.
I got a regular Green river bourbon and wasn't thrilled. It was okay but wont be buying another one. I will try the wheater and rye just because of price point but I'm not sure they will hit my palate but we shall see. Your other bottles are great but some are just try when you see them cause of cost. 90% of Four Gate are over my cap on what I'm willing to spend on alcohol. Enjoy!!
Just picked up Still Austin's Ruby Port Finished Rye (108 proof) from their distillery/online release a few weeks ago. Their cask strength ryes have been great so I'm excited to try a finished product from them. Cheers!
