O problema não são os atletas e sim 7 árbitros que não viram que o atleta não fez uma sequencia de 5 movimentos do kata e ainda inventou 2 movimentos...

Cara, esse não é o caso do vídeo, claramente, pois não é um caso de "mudança no kata", ele não mudou o jeito de fazer... ele não fez. Antes ele tivesse feito errado do que comer o movimento do kata, o trecho inteiro do kiai deixou de existir, poof! Desapareceu! Mas eu queria aproveitar seu comrntário pra reclamar de uma coisa que eu vejo acontecendo com muito frequência, atletas que mudam a forma de fazer o kata, por não fazerem nem ideia do propósito do estilo. Eu vejo isso acontecendo direto com katas da Ryuei-Ryu, pessoas que pensam "Ain não, vou fazer essa parte soave que vai ficar mais bonitinho!", quando na verdade o intuito do estilo é ser explosivo mesmo, por isso as partes suaves são pontuais, caral**! Se você quiser mudar o jeito de fazer a parte, que pelo menos pense no propósito original do kata antes de qualquer coisa, pra não ficar algo tão idiota.

It was all ok until the middle part where there's supposed to be the Kiai sequence. He practically skipped that sequence. Unfortunately, it's up to the Head Judge to notice and bring it up. Should've been a major foul since it's not an alteration of technique by school. But this is an omission instead. Probably he forgot and continued, which was good. But should've been penalised regardless

This is where every judge should memorise and actually know all the Kata. Not only by looking or just knowledge of it but they actually know how to perform if required whether it's their style or not. So they'd see that something was off. No idea how this could've passed.

It's not a foul, it's disqualification, the regulations say that failing to execute a technique is disqualification, he didn't perform five techniques

@@kaalel3393 yup I'd definitely go for a DQ. But the bare minimum is a Major Foul. I once had someone Skipped the Opening sequence of Gojushiho Sho and was lucky to be Head Judge 🤣 I replied to a fellow judge who wasn't Shotokan and told her, "Find me a School that does Gojushiho Sho without that opening sequence 🤌🏻" lol But it depends on the RC. This would've probably been brought up to them by now and the Judges would've been asked why this went through. But it is what it is.😪

Cara, eu gosto da WKF, genuínamente, eu gosto. Eu acho muito mais interessante de se assistir esses katas rápidos e explosivos do que assistir um kata mais tradicional, com bastante força, mas não tão explosivo, como em outras federações, como WUKF ou ITKF (assistir aos campeonatos JKA até é legal, mas por eu não ser Shotokan, não cola muito...). Mas aí me vem uma situação dessas, como que eu defendo, caral**? O cara não sabe nem mesmo fazer o kata que escolheu e ainda assim ganha com 1 ponto de diferença! Que por** de arbitragem é essa?! O fo** é que isso não é a primeira, não é a segunda e nem a terceira vez que eu vejo isso em uma competição WKF, e mesmo que eu não goste tanto das mais tradicionais, eu pergunto, você acha que isso aconteceria com tanta frequência em uma JKA? Uma ITKF? Óbvio que não, porque lá, os arbitros são realmente preparados pra exercer a profissão que lhes foi imposta.

@@PetrusNicolai nesse kata ele errou, qd na primeira daquelas bases em q ele fica de joelho no chão, teria de fazer manji uke, ele fez gedan barai ,no segundo realmente é só gedan barai, depois dos 4 shuto uke,ele chutou mae geri,era pra cair em kosa dachi,fazendo uraken,defendendo uchi uke (ou yoko uke,como queira)e dando gyaku zuki, parecido c kanku dai, daí ele confundiu c a primeira parte q ele já tinha errado....essa versão de chibana no kushanku, é baseada na versão da escola shudokan, porém com adaptações dando mae geri no lugar de yoko

nope. missing some moves or do incorrect moves are faults. the judges have to down their marks for each faults. no disqualification. athletes are disqualified only when they stopped several seconds during the kata. ao was way better than aka. so even with these mistakes i m not shocked by his victory
