Please folks! The enemy us very subtle 😎 Beware! The KJV (closest to GOD's Word) for instance says, in 1st Chapter of John's Gospel: "All things were made by Him" 😇 The New King James Version (believe it or not) says: "Through Him, all things were made" 😔 Now, c'mon, in one Bible HE is the original source and in the other an "agent". Revelation warns against adding or taking away from the Words of this Book. 😡
Just ordered an ESV. After being called back to Christ after years of being pulled down, This man is one of 2 people I'd be happy to be re-baptized by. Coming back means a lot, and being baptized again as an adult to reaffirm my love and attempt to be obedient to Christ would mean a lot.
Stand strong brother! My main read is a ESV too, but I have a few versions. 💪 Matthew Ch. 10 / Matthew ch. 5 Pslams 91 / 2 Peter 2 / Psalms 9 I fell away for many years and severely times back n forth while living for the world. I've been back as best I possibly can since like 2019ish
How is it nonsense? Being baptized in the Holy sprirt, it's not needed for salvation, but you do it to show Jesus is your Lord. that's what your declaring. @JTswansea
Hi Brother. Even though Brother Daniel have some very good videos leaded by the HOLY SPIRIT Who is the Lord Himself, here he speaks too religiously, not all of the Lord's people speak English and it's AMAZING, but if you have the Spirit of CHRIST, you can see the DIVINITY of CHRIST even in the NWT version (JW's) Let's we check that... Genesis 1:26, 27 (NWT/JW"s) 26 Then God said: “Let👉 us 👈 + make man in our image,+ according to our likeness,+ and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every creeping animal that is moving on the earth.”+ 27 And God went on to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. Jeremiah 1:4-9 (NWT) 4 👉The word👈 of Jehovah came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew* you,+ And before you were born* I sanctified you.*+ I made you a prophet to the nations.” 6 But I said: “Alas, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah! I do not know how to speak,+ for I am just a boy.”*+ 7 👉Jehovah👈 then said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am just a boy.’ For you must go to all those to whom I send you, And you should say everything that I command you.+ 8 Do not be afraid because of their appearance,+ For ‘I am with you to save you,’+ declares Jehovah.” 9 Then Jehovah stretched out 👉his hand👈 and touched my mouth.+ (The WORD=the SON is Jehovah/YHWH - John 1:1-14 ) Isaiah 9:6 (NWT) 6 For a child has been born to us,+ A son has been given to us; And the rulership* will rest on his shoulder.+ His name will be called Wonderful Counselor,+ 👉Mighty God👈 ,+ Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. As you see Bro, you do not need of good Bible version, you need ONLY of His SPIRIT!!!!!!!!! God JESUS CHRIST bless you and all of His people in Brazil!

Very well done video. Thank you. I have been an NASB guy for many years but have recently switched over to the ESV. Oddly enough, when I do verse comparisons, I find the ESV accuracy on par or sometimes even more literal than the NASB. Recently started reading the CSB which is a great translation.
I honestly believe that people should read the translation that they will read. May we never forget that Jesus is the Rabbi, and that what one person needs in a season can be wildly different than what another person needs. For years I would only allow myself to read the ESV, or NASB because I as well have a high value for literal translation...but recently I have woken up every morning with my thoughts going to the NLT...which I have always pushed against (for some unknown reason)...so in surrender I opened up my NLT and it has felt like water to my soul. I'm seeing things in the Word that I've never seen before and the Presence of the Holy Spirit so strong as I read. Every persons journey with the Lord is so different and unique. I strongly disagree that the NLT is for "new believers" only. I've walked closely with the Lord for 38 years now and have a very solid depth of knowledge when it pertains to scripture ... yet the NLT is where Jesus has me feasting.
The nlt lies in its name because it is not a translation it is a paraphrase. It’s junk. And I have found that people who use it primarily have junk theology as well. Just a fact
Thank you for this video, I was raised on the NIV version of the Bible, I have just recently taken a liking to reading the KJV a bit for clarification but However, I am now leading more towards the NKJV..
NASB95 is my personal preference. It's extremely easy to read and understand in my opinion. I never understood why people say it's hard to understand because it's word-for-word. I find that it was beautifully translated.
@@nzbrotrev9028 Lucifer is the Latin word for morning star. It does not belong in an English translation of a Greek text. That error of the KJV translators has been corrected.
@@nzbrotrev9028 No it doesn’t. It isn’t confusing at all to anyone who actually pays attention. Isaiah 14 is describing Satan who held a very high position in heaven, falling. Shining one, son of dawn, whatever you want to call it is referring to the high status before the fall. The KJV is flawed because it is a Hebrew to English translation, but throws a Latin word in there making the translation inaccurate. The Latin Vulgate calls Jesus “lucifer” in 2 Peter 1. Lucifer isn’t a name. It is a description of status.

Just yesterday I was going through so many different versions of the Bible. I feel motivated to study and learn. I was overwhelmed. Today your video popped up as a suggestion.
Before I moved out on my own to a studio, I was blinded by my sins. Being addicted to pornography was one of them. I always believed in Jesus, but I dont think I was truly born again until about 2 years ago. When I moved out on my own, I found a Bible that I had packed. (My family owned many Bibles, but I never really read the Bible growing up). It was a New Living Translation Bible. I began reading and God really spoke to my heart. He convicted me of my sins and taught me how to have a personal relationship with Him. I developed a more prayerful life and a new desire to read His word. I now have a new desire to follow Jesus and surrender everything to Him. Though I slip into sin, the Holy Spirit guides me to ask for forgiveness and to put my eyes back on Jesus. I believe God used the time I spent alone living in my studio to get to really know Him through His word, and the Bible I read was the New Living Translation....I believe God speaks to people in different ways and not just through only one translation.

My mom and dad presented me a KJV study Bible on my 18th birthday! They also got me an NLT before I left home for college. I specifically asked for the NLT because I felt that it puts a lot of verses into perspective. But I'm quite aware that it can be misleading, sometimes. So, I try to grasp the context from NLT and support it with the King James Version to get the actual intention of the Holy Spirit in inspiring the scripture. This balance has helped me so much! Amazing video! God bless!
I'd recommend the Ethiopian or Septuagint. The further back you go (older versions) the less alterations or omissions you'll have. All new bibles have been altered at the whims of Kings and Rogue Clergy.
I've really gotten used to reading the KJV I feel like it's the least revised. My pastor prefers it as well and his sermons are so powerful, he explains the meanings so well.
A good preacher can make the KJV sound very easy to understand. I have one of those preachers. I LOVE my KJV and I use it every day. It's what I grew up with and what I am most comfortable with. God Bless!

Does he know that judgement has begun with the churches and has gone out into the world. 1stPeter 4:17, 2ndThesalonions 2-1-12, and Matthew 24:15. You must remember God spoke about a separation that he will do. The parable of the wheat and tares. The wheat are the true belivers that see what's going on and come out of churches, because the hireling is their ( look up the word hireling). God has hired him to prepare this world for judgement. Just look around you. It is better to fellowship now, one on one with the Lord at home still on Sunday. Remember where two are gathered, one and Him.
Might be a bit uncommon (i'm not sure since no one really talks about this version much) but my little brother and I love the Amplified Bible after the ESV one. The notes in the AMP is very helpful whenever I read the chapters for him before we sleep and helps me explain passages to him since he always have loads of questions ready :) It's also a lot easier to read for us.
Thanks brother Daniel. I myself find the NIV easiest to understand, and if you.look into similar pasages.in other translations they mean the same but are written in a more complicated and confusing way. So, it's NIV for me.
I love the saying "The best version of the bible is the one you read." I think people read diffrerent versions at different points of their journey with Christ. All have pros and cons. Just learn to love the word, and decode what God is trying to tell us in each verse.
Christians have to be extremely careful and cautious about the Bible that you read. Words CAN be twisted to make them fit a person's own mistaken beliefs. Even a single bit of misunderstanding can be the difference between whether he/she is going to heaven or hell.
I decided on NLT as a beginner, only because I understood it a lot better. For example: NLT Gen 1:6 Then God said, “Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.” NKJV Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” I guess it's fine for beginners
@@gabbybyfaithdon't ever feel guilty for that. Many people will say that the KJV is the only true translation. About 30 years ago I was studying French, and I read the Bible in the French language. Yeah, I stumbled through it, but since I already had a good Bible base it wasn't too difficult, and it didn't stray from biblical truth (as we read it in English). ...so, what are people of other languages supposed to do? Learn English so they can read the KJV and get saved? Many people don't think about that.

There were 8 English Bible translations that were listed in this video in the following order: 1 - King James Version 2 - New King James Version 3 - English Standard Version 4 - Christian Standard Bible 5 - New International Version 6 - New American Standard Bible 7 - New Living Translation 8 - Amplified Bible
For those who are inclined to heavy study of the scripture, I would recommend NET. It has tons and tons of footnotes to explain the meaning and what other original texts say. But for daily reading, I use CSB.
The apocrypha was a part of the KJV for 274 years until being removed in 1885 A.D. A portion of these books were called deuterocanonical books by some entities, such as the Catholic church.
I actually like the NLT for its readability and same for NIV. However my church primarily uses the ESV in services and such and it is harder to read but not too bad. I think the smartest thing is to use multiple translations to get the true meaning.
I agree. I use my NLT most cause it's easy to read, but I compare with my KJV, and the interlinear on Bible hub when digging deeper for the true meanings.
Danial thank you for this video. It has been very very helpful in finding the right Bible for me. I picked the English Standard Version. It pulls me in and I'm able to understand. Thank you for your guidance and love! God loves you and so do I Danial! ❤️🙏🏻🇺🇲
As a follower of Christ you should study the entire Bible. This is one of the biggest problems with Christianity today, trying to pick and choose what parts of God's word you should read and follow. It doesn't work that way. All of God's words matter.
Yes Gods Holy Word is the Inspired word of God!! All of it is what we need and should run towards!! As true believers and followers of Christ we receive and obey every word.
Yes, if you cherrypick certain parts of the Bible and certain doctrines & books, and leave others out, then you’re creating your own god through your cherrypicked, curated perceptions and ideas. Which is what makes me wary of catholics and other denominations.
@@rflxgaming9628 No cherry picking here, Gods Word is THE SOURCE FOR ABSOLUTE TRUTH !! 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness...
There are many different versions of the Bible-with new translations coming out all the time, it seems-and sometimes it’s hard for Christians to agree on which one is best to use. Different churches recommend different translations, and many church-goers simply go with the version being preached in the pulpit. The good news is that Christians don’t have to agree on one translation of the Bible. First, because of language barriers, it’s impossible for all Christians worldwide to agree on one Bible. If we all agreed that the KJV (for example) is the one true Bible, then what are Christians to read who speak Spanish or French? There’s no such thing as King James Russian or King James Papiamento. Non-English translations have to be made, and there’s nothing more “inspired” about a translation in English than a translation in, say, Urdu. But if we limit our consideration to English translations, Christians still don’t have to agree on one Bible. There are several reasons why various Bible translations are good and even necessary: 1) Language changes over time, and words and spellings become obsolete. Christians in the 21st century do not have to agree with the spelling of the 14th century. For example, consider John 3:16 in the first English translation ever made, John Wyclif’s 14th-century version: “For God louede so the world, that he yaf his 'oon bigetun sone, that ech man that bileueth in him perische not, but haue euerlastynge lijf.” And here is the same verse in the KJV of 1611: “For God so loued þe world, that he gaue his only begotten Sonne: that whosoeuer beleeueth in him, should not perish, but haue euerlasting life.” Obviously, these translations (which were necessary in their time) needed to be replaced with translations that reflected contemporary spelling. 2) Christians don’t have to agree on one version of the Bible because only the original autographs of Scripture were inspired. The words that Joshua wrote in the Book of the Law of God (Joshua 24:26) were inspired by God. Every translation of those words since that time has involved a measure of human interpretation-that’s the nature of translating. For example, the Hebrew word Joshua wrote concerning false gods was nekar in Joshua 24:23. That inspired word can be translated into English as “strange,” “foreign,” or “alien,” or the gods in question can simply be called “idols.” It’s up to the translator, but the basic meaning does not change. The English translation is not what’s inspired anyway, as most Christians would agree. 3) Christians don’t have to agree on one version of the Bible because such agreement would tend to foster autocracy and absolutism. Having different translations prevents any one group or church from saying, “Only our translation is holy. We are the only ones who have God’s Word.” This is in fact what happened during the Middle Ages. The Roman Catholic Church (and later the Anglican) held in their grasp all the copies of the Bible (in Latin, which most people could not read), and they forbade anyone else from making a copy or reading it for themselves. Bibles in the vernacular were illegal. Fortunately, the Reformation changed all that: Luther made a German translation, and Tyndale an English translation, and the rest, as they say, is history. 4) Christians shouldn’t have to agree on one version of the Bible because having different translations allows more people access to God’s Word. Various versions of the Bible are written at various reading levels. The KJV, for example, is about a 12th-grade reading level. The NKJV is about a 7th-grade reading level. The NCV has a 3rd-grade reading level. The ERV (Easy-to-Read Version) is better for people just learning English. John 3:16 in the ERV is, “Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life.” If all Christians agreed on the NIV Bible, for example, anyone at a reading level lower than junior-high would have difficulty reading God’s Word. It’s important to know that not every translation is equally faithful to the original text: some take a more literal approach, and some take a more dynamic approach. But all good translations of the Bible do their best to stay true to the original Greek and Hebrew texts and accurately communicate the Word of God. In the final analysis, agreement on one particular translation is not all that crucial. Most of the differences are quite minor. Mark 3:5, for example, reads like this in four popular translations: “He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts . . .” (NIV). “And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart . . .” (ESV). “And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts . . .” (KJV). “After looking around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart . . .” (NASB). The wording is different, but they all mention Jesus’ look, His anger, His distress/grief, and the people’s stubborn/hard hearts. What is the value in promoting one of these translations to the exclusion of all the others? The differences among the good translations are not differences in doctrine. Whether we’re reading the KJV, the NIV, the NAS, the ESV, or the ERV, Jesus is still the Lord and one-and-only Savior, and salvation still comes by grace through faith. www.gotquestions.org/Christians-agree-Bible.html

The best English bible translation is the Douay Rhiems bible. This is a Catholic bible published in 1609 OT and 1582 NT. The Douay Rhiems is the most accurate english translation. It was a straight translation from the Latin Vulgate. The Latin Vulgate was created by St. Jerome in the 4th century. He used texts that were in the library of Alexandria, Egypt. The Latin Vulgate was the offical bible until the reformation. Also, this translation has 7 books of the bible that are not included in protestant bibles, such as Tobit, Judith, Baruch, Wisdom, Sirach, Machabees 1 and 2. 😊
The ones I personally use are the NIV (1984 version- before gender neutral language was added in 2011) for casual reading but I’m going to switch to the ESV once for most of my reading once I receive my large print single column journaling ESV Bible, ESV for Bible studies, and NASB1995 for a word for word translation. I’ve recently gotten over my small depressive episode caused by KJV only users telling me that I’m not truly saved and that I’m going to hell for not reading the KJV only. Then I realized that I read my Bible far more than they do so I got out of that depressive episode and got back to it.
I am glad you brought that up. I have used a Ryrie NIV study bible for years and I find the 1984 version great. I also use my Church History ESV version as well as a newer NET version. (I check my old KJV and RSV bibles to cross check.)
My personal favorites are the ESV, NIV, CSB, and the NLT. I think the NLT Bible is a great translation for Christians who are just starting to read the Bible. I grew up reading the KJV Bible and while it is a beautiful translation that I still use today, I don’t think it’s the easiest translation to read, just because of the old English.
100% agree with you. When I was a new Christian I was given the NLT. I’m so glad, because I was able to understand much of what I was reading. The Holy Spirit is the one that taught me the Holy scriptures, not the translation per se. 21 years later, I read mostly the NKJV, the CSB, and the NSAB. I also use the NLT for clarification of difficult passages and when I read the Old testament. There is no point in reading a translation that you can’t understand! The power of the word of God is in its application, so read a translation that you can understand and apply to your life. Most definitely stay away from the cult’s translations.
I have NIV and I have KJV, both gifts to me. I have read the entire NIV Bible and I prefer the NIV than KJV because it's easy to understand and there are words more fitting and appropriate to say than the words used in KJV.
The Amplified Bible is good for beginners that are trying to interpret the scriptures. Amplified Bible helped me a lot. Whenever I read the ESV version and NASB version which are both my fav translations I tend to look at the Amplified Bible to help me get clarity, and as I continue to observe them back in ESV and NASB to get the general sense for myself what the Holy Spirit is trying to teach me here, it then clicks.

Actually the holy spirit disagreed. In the Bible itself it says to translate in a way so that people can always understand. Word for word translations often are so literal that they can lose meaning very easily. The ESV is very careful to avoid doing this, it’s a great translation. But the CSB does a far better job of having a balance of word for word and thought for thought

After growing up with the KJV over the years loving the word of God, it was still difficult to fully understand a lot of passages especially in the OT. I had the opportunity to get some of the newer translations over the years. I got a NT called The New Testament in Modern English by J.B. Phillips years ago, that I love, but it's in paragraph form with verses noted. And it was only the NT. After looking at so many new translations in modern times I ended up picking the NLT. I can read it with better understanding about the circumstance when I read passages, especially in the OT. And I can compare passages with my NKJV to better understand everything that's going on around that specific passage.
I have used the NIV most of my life.. it reads well and I don’t see any problem with it.. even when comparing with the other translations like KJV.. NKJV and NASB.. I think they got the balance right.. It’s the most popular translation for good reason I think. But the NLT I think has gone too far. I usually refer to the KJV as my back up.. or look up verses online to get the original Hebrew and Greek meanings.

I actually like the Apocrypha because of the history in the book of the Maccabees. Otherwise, when you read about Jesus going up to Jerusalem for the "feast of dedication" you won't realize that He is going up for Hanukah! Hanukah was an important fulfillment of the prophecies in Daniel which describe Antiochus Epiphanes abomination of desecration, which Jesus and Paul both later reference. I have read from the KJV all my life. But lately, I've been reading from the NASB, and hope to pick up a NET. I also like to look at the NRSV and always go back to the KJV when I'm doing a word study since the KJV is so specific with it's wording and the words themselves offer more depth.

1 John 2:27, it is written: “As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit-just as it has taught you, remain in Him.” The Holy Spirit, as our Comforter and Guide, illuminates our understanding, reveals truth, and leads us into deeper knowledge of God’s Word. It is a beautiful reminder that we can rely on the Spirit’s wisdom and revelation as we seek to grow in faith and understanding. 🕊📖✨

Hello Jafin, The topic of jewelry is very important and sometimes unclear but I think the Bible does tell us how to approach this. Whenever we are trying to discern whether we should do something, we should ask three questions to ourselves: 1.) Is it prohibited explicitly in the Bible? 2.) Does it violate the principles of love for God or for others? (A subcategory of this is “Is it pleasing to my Father in Heaven”) 3.) Am I doing it with the wrong intentions? These three questions come from the Bible. The 10 commandments famously tell us a few things to do and many things to not do. For example, "do not steal." From this and from reading the Bible, we quickly begin to understand that certain things are prohibited by God in the Bible. Jesus also said, "You are my friends if you do what I command(John 15:14)." Based off of that, we need to really consider if there is something the Bible prohibits, and follow that command if we want to be friends with Jesus. Now there are certain things in the law that the Bible prohibits that new testament Christians do not have to follow. Those commands would be the ceremonial and religious commands for the Israelites. But things such as fornication, stealing, murdering, swearing, witchcraft, things associated to our behavior are things we need to look at from the Bible. Jesus said to us "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments(Matthew 22:37-40).” This tells us that we need to consider that whatever we do, does it violate the principles and our ability to love God and others. Thirdly, intentions matter. Hebrews 4:12 says "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." The Bible is there to judge whether our thoughts and heart intentions are good. According to Proverbs 6:16-19, God hates the heart that makes evil plans. Clearly, we need to make sure that we are doing the right thing for the right reason not the right thing for the wrong reason. All three questions are important and going through them in order if we answer no, we can continue on to the next one and if all three are answered "no", then we have good reason to go ahead but still it is ultimately about if your conscious is not convicted about it(or basically feels like you really shouldn't.) Now, with regards to Jewelry, it is not explicitly prohibited in the Bible. In fact, God said in the book of Ezekiel speaking about Jerusalem: "I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you. I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments. I adorned you with jewelry: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around your neck, and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head. So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen. And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord(Ezekiel 16:9-14)." Notice how the text says " I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head. So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth." So this tells us that in the sight of God, there was nothing inherently sinful with putting on jewelry since God is personifying Jerusalem within the context of this passage. So according to the Bible, it is not explicitly prohibited. However, the New Testament writers made sure that the focus on jewelry wasn't going to be vanity. 1 Timothy 2:9 states "I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God." and also 1 Peter 3:3 which says "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes." So we can see here that although wearing jewelry isn't a sin, it tells us that our focus should be upon inward beauty and holiness RATHER THAN trying to be outwardly beautiful. There is nothing in the Bible that goes against making yourself look nice but at the same time, we need to make sure that we are not being vain with this and overly concerned with our appearance. If our appearance starts to be more important to us than our inward character, there is a problem. Wearing Jewelry can violate God's principles for love of him first and others especially in the case where, again, our appearance becomes more important than our character or if we rather protect our beauty rather than be loving toward God and others. If we make beauty more important than God, that is committing the sin of idolatry. It also can be used in the wrong way if we are trying to make people lust after us and is leading us to try and make others fall into possibly sinful thoughts towards us. Also, intentions matter. I think for the woman it is extremely important for her to examine her motives for putting on jewelry. Is it to please her husband with her appearance, is it to look moderately attractive, or is it to make others jealous, envious, and lustful? If we cannot put on jewelry in good conscious towards God, we ought to abandon it. I hope this helped, be blessed in Jesus name! I've been figuring out what other translations to get! Very helpful. Thank you, Daniel. If I don't get the chance to meet you personally, thanking you for your work, I'll be looking for you in our REAL life-the next one-to thank you then. I love you too, brother. God bless.
I want to buy a bible but had no clue which version so have held off til I could research more. I just watched a video yesterday and the speaker went thru the different versions and KJV was ultimately his top choice. I wish i could remember who it was but he explained alot of things that i think will make reading it for the 1st time a little easier for me. Such as the language used and why they chose certain words over others and it was very specific. It made alot of sense though. Now that i have seen another video that recommends that particular version I'm going to actually get one now. So thank you for this video! I really believe God led me to your channel and im truly thankful ♥️
You'll never find the Truth with these bible recommendations. Why? Try to answer Proverbs 30:4 with any of these recommendations. Please post your answer here. Knowing the answer to this question is eternal life (John 17:3).
@@Michael0841 i literally just bought my Bible yesterday. I read that verse. And the ones before and after and im still not sure what you're trying to say? Not from that 1 small section. The word of God is pure and the question is which version is most accurate to His word?
@@conservativesavage1076 Proverbs 30:4 is the most important question in the Bible. The answer leads to eternal life (John 17:3). If your Bible refers to the Father as the "LORD" (which isn't a name) and the Son as "Jesus" (He was never called this while on earth), you can NEVER know the Truth because the Son is the Way, the Truth, and the (eternal) Life. How can you come to the Father through His Son without knowing Their True Names? You know the Father's Name and don't even realize it, and I'll prove it to you: Why do we pronounce HalleluJAH as HalleluYAH. Because it means "Praise You YAH", which is the short form of the Father's Name. The Son came in the Father's Name as YAHshua which mean: YAH is Salvation. It makes no sense for a Jewish Saviour to have an English name . . . prayerfully meditate on this. Thus, He didn't have a Jewish Name and an English name (two totally different names, see Acts 4:12). Unfortunately, the evil one has deceptively removed the Father's and Son's True Names from MOST English Bibles which makes it very difficult to know Them in an attempt to keep people deceived. Now you know how he appears as an angel of light. Despite the efforts of the evil one, our Heavenly Father knows our hearts even if we don't know Him or His Son and will still respond to sincere prayers.
@@Michael0841 i appreciate the response and I'm gonna have to look more into it. I was just watching another video and they were discussing His name. And my understanding from that was the KJV is the most accurate. Theres gonna be slight variations due to translation differences but he specifically spoke about God's true name in that video among so many other things so im still confused if you're saying that version isnt right?
@@conservativesavage1076 I forgot to answer your question. The most accurate English translation is the HalleluYah Scriptures. Another translation for you consider that can be downloaded for free is called: The Scriptures by the Institute of Scripture Research.
The KJV is a poor translation of the Latin Vulgate which was a translation of Greek texts. As 17the century British literature, it is lovely, but it is not a very accurate translation.
One cool Bible version that is worth checking out online is the MLV (Modern Literal Version). It is statistically the MOST accurate English translation 😊✝️🙏📖🔥🔥🔥
@@Duke_Scanlan Hahaha. The KJV is fine but the most accurate it is not. KJV fans really need to read the preface from the translators or look at the Greek text it was translated from, which was itself done 1000 years after the events of Jesus life on Earth and had errors in it due the hastiness of it's construction. How exactly is the KJV the most accurate if the Greek text used for the KJV had errors in it and also the KJV translators didn't know what all the Greek words meant in English? Again, the KJV is fine if that's your preferred translation but to state it's the most accurate is incorrect.
Thank you for your input. I have several copies of all these Bibles. My favorite is NLT, ESV, NASB and NKJV. But the NLT when you read it gives excellent images to the mind of the greatness of God. Such as Isaiah 40:15b says He picks up the whole world as though it was a grain of sand. Could you just think about what that image is? You know how small a grain of sand is that is how He sees the world. I love it! Try reading it one day. I believe it will change your mind about the NLT.
Even if you do not accept the apocrypha, the books that were in the Apocrypha were accepted even by Jesus’ contemporaries. The Septuagint was what they knew. One of Jesus’ most well-known quotes was “you will know them by their fruits.” That is a reference to Sirach 27:6, “the fruit discloses the cultivation.” This is one example, but books like Wisdom, Sirach, Tobit, and Judith, were all books Jesus and the disciples knew. So, it’s not accurate to outright dismiss them as gnostic. Even the original 1611 print of the KJV included the apocrypha/deuterocanon. So did Luther’s original German Bible. The removal of the deuterocanon didn’t come until later on.

This turned out really long, and I wasn't expecting it. But if you're hurting, if you've been away from God and you feel so hopeless, I hope you read this and it finds you well.
Well, it looks like the second half of my comment is missing and I'm so stinking sad to see that happened. I opened up a lot and said so much I felt God wanted me to say, but looks like it was too long for YT comment hehe. I should've took the hint with the text changing a strange color. hehe Well, I will have to revisit that later it seems.
