No, you DO get the projectile. But it can clash with other meteors. Dustloop has examples of it clashing and not clashing. Unfortunately, the clash happens more often than not, AND you sometimes still get hit by other meteors after flicking.
@@DangerDirk i can't imagine it happening often but if the pot player can get the timing down it leads to a guaranteed punish, if you block the burst it leaves nago safe
@@raddude4334 Oh no, I'd argue it's one of the better options. If Nago is INTENT on making you eat the blood rage activation, flick him. If not, feel free to stay out of range and buster him. Also, blocked blood rage activation is -7. Depending on spacing, you can kara buster him and he can do nothing
@@FuriousNoodle It's actually a hidden movelist command that 360 + P has Potemkin Buster come out as well. Kind of like how Faust has the hidden *more items* super

Potemkin can also flick: Ky's j.D Explosion followup of Axl's Rensen Goldlewis minigun Goldlewis drone explosion Jack-o's air fireball Jack-o's Attack Command and Explode Command Pot can't flick (that you may think is flickable): Chipp's clone or shuriken Jack-o's minions when tossed or kicked do not generate a projectile
Ehhhhh................. You don't get the projectile most of the time. If you're decently far from the corner, you DO get the projectile though. It's not SUPER strong that you can flick the followup explosion, but it's still worth it since Ram gets less plus frames
@@DangerDirk yeah my usual go to to get in was aegis shield into hammer fall but he kept command grabbing me out of hammer fall I ended up being eliminated from tournament cause of axl so I picked up chipp to counter him but I only enjoy playing Potemkin right now
Yup, that was a really interesting interaction that sadly didn't transfer over to strive. So the Pot mirror doesn't have any flickable entities anymore.
Now I'm curious as an I-no main. Does flick only apply to one projectile? I'm imagining doing 214k when 214p hits, it'd be some saucey gameplay if the 214k would go through
Ok everyone, to put it in simple terms so you don't have to watch 2 minutes of video: Potemkin can flick absolutely ANY projectile and most long range explosions as well.
@@warkaina3232 No you have not. I literally just tested it. You can't flick it. Are you sure you didn't flick something else, like Invite Hell or "That's a Lot!", while he did the sword super? You haven't even been able to flick supers since +r. Couldn't flick any super in xrd, and can't flick any super in strive. I tried, and failed, on every single attempt at flicking supers. You just can't flick supers
@@chemicalexposure8537 the first time i tried potemkin my friend who mained him swiched to zato i quickly opened menu and tried once of the random inputs and as i did the input the animation for zato sword rolled up i started the flick way before the sword
