We are showing you what he eats every other day. Red-footed tortoises require a slightly different diet than other tortoises so we had to really research what he should eat to make sure he stays healthy.

As a fellow owner of a 5yr old redfoot...I can honestly say..no need to chop the food as in the wild nobody would chop it. I give mine shit whole...he will eat lychee and leave the pips... ❤

How did you know he is a boy? I have one and i think it’s a girl but I’m not to sure. It has more of a rounded shell than a long shell.

@@enronrodgers8426 You can’t tell until they start to sexually mature which takes 4-6 years typically. Females will have a smooth, flat plastron with a short, stubby tail and males have a curve underneath their plastron, like a little indent to mount the females and have a long tail - hope this helps (:
