You're one of the best teachers I've seen on RU-vid. Thanks for the incredible in-depth videos on Pipedrive! It's nice to see someone who knows the complexities of CRM automations. Keep making more videos please. :)
Thank you Paul, you are great support. I wanted to ask you I made a workflow in which once the contact becomes a lead , there are a flow of activities that are linked with the lead. But if the lead qualifies for the deal earlier , the list of activities keep appearing the deal pipedrive. How can we delete the activities if the lead is changed to deal. Thank you
I don't think this would be possible using Workflow Automation I'm afraid. This is generally when I would turn to a tool like Zapier (which is a bit more powerful) and you could use it to find/delete the outstanding activities.
Hi Paul, thanks for the awesome video. Just a question. Will the integration between HubSpot and Pipedrive accurately show the specific form, like "Free Demo Form," when a customer submits it in HubSpot, or will it just provide general information in Pipedrive? I want to make sure I can see exactly what form leads submitted?
Sorry, I'm afraid I haven't used the Hubspot integration so I'm not really sure. Most people use one or the other (not both). If you're using Pipedrive, you can create your forms in the Leads section and then send automation follows ups using automation. Hope this helps.
Hey Paul, great vid. Is it possible to set email tracking updates (say, if lead opens initial email) to trigger an automated follow-up email within Pipedrive automated workflow? Or would Zap be needed for that? cheers
Yes, there were some recent updates to Pipedrive's automation. So now you can use 'email link clicked' or 'response received' to filter your automations before sending further emails.
Hi Paul, do you know how to make an automation that is triggered when a deal is won in one specific pipeline to make a new deal in a different pipeline? For example I have a service with progressive 'follow-on' services and so I set up a separate pipe for each (could also be complimentary services). Lets say I have 4 follow-on service; pipes A, B, C & D. A client can enter on any service and stop the service at any point, but they cannot go backwards or leap a service step. So, B follows A, C follows B, and D follows C. So, when a deal is won in pipe A, it would be great to auto fill pipe B and so on through the services. Does that make sense and is that possible?
Yes, so you could create an automation like this: 1. Deal updated 2. Condition: Deal status » has changed to » won AND Pipeline » is » A 3. Create deal on pipeline B. (You would then repeat this for your other pipelines)
You could do an automation like this: 1. Deal updated 2. Condition: Here's where you would specify what needs to change e.g. 'Custom field » has changed to » X' 3. Update org. You would reference the org that's linked to the trigger deal.
Can you possibly do a video please on creating an automation to send rotting deals to a Teams channel or by email to someone? I'm trying to set this up, but I can't seem to get the automation logic right - thank you, and great videos!
Hi Paul, I need a little lehmans terms if possible. Do I need Zappier to enable more of the automation process (collating data/ user information in to Pipedrive?) Does pipedrive do email automation or do I "have" to get another email marketing program i.e. mailchimp? Just some small questions please and appreciate taking the time to answer.
You can do all your email automation natively in Pipedrive if you like (no need for Zapier) using your connected email account or using Pipedrive Campaigns. You would only need to use Zapier if connecting a third-party tool like Mailchimp. Hope that helps!
Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking... what is the app product? You mean people signing up via an online form, you want to add as contact. Yes this is possible. The easiest way is using Pipedrive web forms.
This one is a bit tricker as there is no 'deal rotting' trigger. But you could do it with Zapier if a deal starts to rot, the deal can join a filter and this can be used to trigger Zapier to send an automated follow up.
@@minor-co thanks for the response Paul. Our company is using Pipedrive and I am working on this project to lessen the task of our people. Haven’t tried Zapier but we will. Thank you
I'm afraid this isn't possible natively with Pipedrive but you could probably do this using Zapier to send an email via Toky or Justcall when an appointment is approaching.
Hi Paul, great video. when i'm creating a pipedrive deal with zapier (email parser -> create deal -> pipedrive), i get the deal in my pipeline, but it isn't automatically linked with an organization. Can you assist me how to get this work?
Yes. You could use a form like Jotform or Google Forms to capture the event attendees, then use Zapier to auto-create the contacts and deals in Pipedrive. Or even simpler, you could use the Pipedrive web form to capture the names and emails.
