Thanks for sharing. I also didn't give copper in the fall and was wondering why we were having so many problems during kidding and parasites

I know it has to be directly tied. It's the only thing that changed and I had a terrible time during kidding and leading up to it. My girls all look SO GOOD now that I gave them copper!

Yes and? Life on a farm is hectic and creating content is time consuming and caring for the farm comes before editing so we’re pretty far behind but figured the information was valuable and could be helpful to others at some point regardless of when it was filmed to the time it was published.

So I have a question. Which copper bolus do you use? Do you use the full dose, the small dose? Do you only dose them if they are showing signs or is it just a thing that you do regardless? I am nervous about using them because of copper toxicity.

I order the small boluses for them. I always, except for this year, give it to them in September to prep them for breeding and to have the strongest releases during gestation when their bodies are being taxed more than normal and they need the supplement.
