Vader prank holo-called Admiral Piett and said "You have failed me for the last time, Admiral!" and then just stared at him for a few seconds. "I'm just kidding, Piett. Set a course for Endor."
Another great video! Empire was my favorite as well. I was 3 when anh came out and that year my parents took me to detriot conn because all the characters were going to be there! The only one i wanted to see was luke! So my parents waited in line with me for hours! It was finally my turn (i was the last they let through) and my three year old self only wanted to give and get a cheek kiss from luke skywalker! And he refused! I cried for weeks! My heart was broken! So for the next 3 years i dressed for holloween as vader! A 3 year old little girl vader! But i still loved luke the best! My parents loved telling that storyyl
@@Transilvanian90 I just call it head cannon. Anyone else can buy Star Wars and change what is cannon repeatedly, so I'm just going to enjoy my personal cannon.
Very interesting I really like back stories of the characters from ep 1 to 6 grew up on the OT and Empire is special to me. I just subscribed can’t wait to hear more stories
I don't read comics as much anymore (not because I think I'm cool or adult - just poor) - but I read this one. It was a really good story up until the end, I'm hoping we get a sequel to this. New to your channel, I've subscribed, and I'll be back. Is this your real voice or AI. If it's real - you have great talent.
I thought Vader didn't know he had a son until ESB? I know there have been comics with Boba Fett or other people telling him they share a last name, but I thought in the movies, the reason why Luke hid so easily from Vader is because he had no idea he even existed, so there was no point checking the Lars homestead since he believed there was no reason to go in the first place.
@@williamkraut5849 Vader definitely didn’t know before New Hope, but he knew by the time ESB happened. In the EU he finds out from some captured rebel officer
"Obi wan never told yiu what happend to your father"He told me enough ,he said u killed him"! NO LUKE IM AM YOUR FATHER """ Noo that's impossible " search your feelinga you know it to be true..😂one of the greatest moments of not just Star wars but movies in general!!
With Vader being my absolute favorite SW character, I must find these books. Sadly I couldn’t find them referenced in the description.. Those added more nuance to an already tragic story.. I felt extreme sadness after this video, but I gained a lot more clarity into his inner struggle. Glad I stopped to watch. Thank you for posting
What should had happened just like in the ROTS, as soon as Palpy got to Anakin's position near the lava riverbank, his cloak should had burst into flames. When Anakin fell into his location, the intense heat immediately roasted him and his clothes caught on fire. So the same should had happened to Palpy. While he could prevent the intense heat from burning his skin, his clothes would just fired up very quickly. To make it funny, with his cloak on fire, Palpy would try to roll on the ground to stop the fire only to roll into the lava roasting him alive until the lava consumed him.
This in live action would be awesome. Maybe when they do a 50th Anniversary theater release of the original trilogy in 2027 (you know they will), this would be a post-credit scene after The Empire Strikes Back. It would be worth at least $500M extra in box office.
How far are distances in Star Wars? This says the Emperor dumped Vader on Mustafar again, but how far is that from Corasant or wherever? Is it just like a 15 minute trip to the local supermarket?
I always wondered what would have happened at the end of ROTJ if Vader had lived. Yes, he would have been known as Anakin again, but he would need to be imprisoned for war crimes.
Could have been padmes relative or sister anakin did meet padres parents so vader shud av recognised her. Ps this scene were vader sees the cribs and padres giving birth shud av been ending of part 4 so would have made sense how vader knew he had a son in part 5 or beginning of part 5
If only Anakin could have beaten the high ground and kept his limbs and medicorians he might have beaten Palatine and saved Padme and ended up ruling the galaxy.
So its first action was to desecrate its wife's tomb? Murder her followers. All of this so that it could shift blame for its own actions onto someone else? Seriously the only time I ever had any respect for Vader was when he admitted to not being Obi-Wan's failure, that he was responsible for his own actions.
The comics are part of the Disney canon. Honestly, Marvel’s Darth Vader series is one of the best aspects of the Disney acquisition, because Marvel’s writers have a bit more slack to fill in the blanks than the showrunners and movie screenwriters do.
Once again, this video proves the utter creative bankrupcy that is "Disney canon". This story is just derivative Prequel nostalgia bait. The part where Palpatine drags a suited Vader to the lava bank and burns him again is HILARIOUSLY bad. This story is on the same magnitude of awful as the Obi-Wan disaster of a show. EU Comics have much better stories.
Those EU books were straight fuckin trash and you two know it. No one even cared about them until disney took over and now suddenly it's time to pretend like there were good stories from the EU
