On one of the hottest days on record here in the UK where better place to be than on the foreshore of the River Thames! And on this hot day, I got some super hot finds! Take a look and let me know what your favourite is! (I don't often wear shorts when Im mudlarking but on Monday 18th July the weather was the hottest it has ever been over here in London and this called for a change of the usual clothing!).
I did question my sanity at one point as it really was oppressively hot, even by the water. Luckily I had plenty of water with me and a straw hat lent to me by my friend Rebecca!
This fabulous photo which I used on my thumbnail was taken by Hannah Smiles a couple of years ago! Thank you Hannah. See more portraits of mudlarks here:-

During this video I talk about the Totally Thames Festival coming up in September 2022. There will be plenty of mudlarking themed events and I will be showing my finds on 3/4 September at Watermen's Hall in London and also at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich on 10/11 September. I'll also be doing a talk on 10th September at 3.30pm at the Maritime Museum. It is free but you just need to book tickets here:-
