Discovering that Adam Rupp is actually a wizard makes so much sense!!!

The first time I watched this, I was so caught up in the action that I totally ignored the music. Had to go back and "watch" it again with my eyes closed. The voice you rhapsodized over was Rob. And now we know Adam's secret: he uses magic to make all those sounds. The woman shaking her head at Rob and Austin is Austin's lady love, Amberly. These guys can be so adorably loopy and still sing like angels. Doesn't seem fair sometimes, but I love it. Great reaction. Have a great day.

My only complaint was we didn't get to see much of Chances handsome face with that helmet on. But loved the whole thing music, LARPING, theatrics and humor. Austin being whacked and beaten up was by his girlfriend Amberly. They're so cute together. Glad you enjoyed this one. I also would have liked to be part of this video.😂❤

This did look like it was fun to film, but I guess it was over 100F in Nashville that day and worse when you take humidity into account. That ending with the juice pouches and water and ice packs? Yeah, they were all pretty overheated. The group they're with is a regular LARP group in Nashville. This was their Pride month LARP, so if you watch you'll catch little rainbow flags and such on shields.

Not just any dragon: Toothless, from How to Train Your Dragon. That would make Tim= Hiccup. Amberly, Austin's lady, (the one who "slays" him, is amazing. They are two peas in a pod. Check out their channel, Beauty and the Bass. Adam is a huge D&Der. There's a vid on the HF channel showing his home, including one big man-cave with hundreds of hand painted miniatures on one wall, a huge gaming table in the middle. He did have a give away to win a gaming session with him and his buds. Oh, and he wears this get up while riding a mechanical bull in the video for Between A Rock and A Heartache. I think his staff is from a fan.

This was incredible! I LOVED the original, their take on this was phenomenal! The vocals FREAKING PHENOMENAL! All together, and I’m not great with math, but I think it adds up to FREAKING PHENOMENAL!!!

Adam, I understand, was the one who proposed the idea for the video. Adam is a Dungeonmaster in Dungeons and Dragons. You can see his basement with the D,&D layout and his numerous figurines in Home Free's video Quarantine and Down to the Honky Tonk. These were made during the lockdown at their different homes. Chance was in a Mandelorian outfit He is a huge Star Wars fan. The girl who stabbed Austin was Austin's girlfriend, Amberly. Quite a few of the other people, ore, if not all, were various friends. I think the guy who stabbed Tim's dragon was Tim's friend that Introduced Tim to his future wife.

I finally had to put my phone face down so that I could actually hear the lyrics when this one came out! The original was written by Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE. Bear and his brother founded the band and at one point had such artistic differences that they had a fight that landed one of them in the hospital. After they had cooled down and were able to hear each other, they talked it out and chose to be brothers first and band mates second. I would recommend that you take a listen to NEEDTOBREATHE at some point. I love their album Out of Body and my favorite (it’s hard to choose) song from the album is Banks. I can’t remember if there is a video for it or not but the lyrics are powerful. I am thoroughly enjoying your reactions to Home Free!

To steal from a commenter on a different reaction to this video: The original was written by Bear Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE and was inspired by a terrible fight with his brother who was, at that time, also a band mate. When they had cooled down enough to really hear each other, they chose to be brothers first and band mates second. If there is one thing that you could say against HF's videos it is that the video itself often makes you overlook the details of the singing. Some times because of the humor, sometimes because of the pathos. I have shared videos with friends and asked them to not watch it the first time, to just listen so they can concentrate on the music. Not especially useful for a reactor, though. When I saw the notification that you were doing this, I was soo excited to see your reaction. And I was right. thank you for a great reaction.

Yes Chance is Boba Fett, Rob is Braveheart, Austin is an Elf, Adam is a Mage, and Tim is Tickle on Toothless from How to train your dragon. They each chose their own character and had a blast with them. I love how Tim tries to look vicious with that costume. Home Free=Brotherhood=5Brothers💖 Oh this is so awesome!!!! So cool and funny but at the same time so sweet!!! Beautiful how they are dressed up, all one by one fabulous. What a beautiful start from Chance with a voice so smooth and sexy. And even though it looked cool, it was almost a shame that you didn't see his face through that helmet for a while. 😄 Then our soulful Rob, the teddy bear with his beautiful voice as soft as silk and his very high note!! 💞Who sings while lying down and later received a sweet kiss on his injured finger from Tim.😂 Tim with his beautiful pathetic dragon and who with his bass could have knocked everyone down in my opinion. 😉 Austin with his amazing moves and a voice just like he looked. When this first came out I think lots of people had to watch it multiple times so that they could focus on the music/vocals separately from the video. As you could tell it hard to do both at once!

I love this video - the song, the singing, the message of the song and the video itself are all terrific. You have to watch it twice though - once for the video and once for the music. The woman who clubs the elf (Austin) is his lady Amberly and in the background she keeps waling on him. By the way, Adam Rupp has his own channel & is a big DnD player!

You weren't the only one distracted by the video - first viewing I was totally distracted by Adam R!! It's usually Tim that sets my old heart a-flutter but Adam looking so at ease in that getup, being shirtless then pulling off that cartwheel (please someone tell me it actually was him and not a "double"!) just floored me. Can we have him in a similar getup every video? 😍(I'm sure the poor lad would be most embarrassed that a crazy old woman like me looks at him in that way but......😂) Second viewing I actually managed to listen to the song. Great vocals as always and fab lyrics. It's what this world needs more of now - looking out for each other and less of the selfish, looking out for only oneself. I think it's mainly Rob taking the lead here but whichever one of them it is, it is beautifully done

As usual, I will say something before I watch your reaction. I looooooooooooooooooooooove this video. Adam Rupp plays DnD and has a room in his house, just for that purpose. I've been playing DnD (and subsequent role-playing games) and LARPing since 1979. I already know BEFORE I watch this that you're going to get a heck of a kick out of it. :) **************************************************************************** This is probably one of my favorite Home Free videos of all. I even teared up at the end when Adam stopped the last enemy and then resurrected the rest of the group. Then, the little bit at the end where Adam is reading a book called "Make Your Own Magic" just is the topper on the cake!

It was funny because the week Home Free released this video, Voice Play released I Can't Make You Love Me. Home Free are usually the ones to tackle emotional, heartfelt songs, and Voice Play is usually dressed up in costume, so it was like they switched places. 🤣 Also, I do some cosplay as well and loved you talking about your love for the costumes. Love you some Home Free, eh? The concerts are showcases for the talent and their wonderful sense of humor, which are both on display here. In their videos, they often use friends and family. Rob's wife and Austin's girlfriend (the head shaker) are in this one. "Hillbilly Bone," "Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer," "Friends in Low Places," "Butts Medley" and several others also contained family/friends abundantly. Always respect when they don't leave the people they've always known behind.

The full “The Dragon Born Comes “ video, where he over-lays 120 tracks of himself creating All the harmonies, including Dragon Toung, and another more fun version video, with Lyndsey Sterling and her violin, dueling with magic and weapons ( Lindsey claims victory with her violin bow). So many great moments in this video. So, listen with eyes shut or in the car on play list. That's where I first heard it and kept in on loop till I got to my destination.

The song is by a Christian group called "Need To Breath". Also Adam Chance joined the group in the spring of 2016. So he has been with them for a few years.

This is a cover of a song by the Christian Rock group NEED2BREATHE that came out around 2015/16 and I still hear to this day every once in a while on K-Love the Christian radio network. The young lady is gives the dismayed look is Austin's real life lady-love Amberly. She & Austin have a channel of their own called Beauty & the Bass, in which they do a lot of things around Austin's estate & and they also do some travel vlogs as well.

I had to watch the video a lot before I noticed that when Austin comforts Rob, he has misplaced his left elf ear. In the background, Amberly keeps whacking somebody. The video was filmed during a heatwave. The water, Capri Sun, and ice bags were definitely needed! They obviously had fun filming.
