What did my Walk In Humidor Cost? 

Too rich for my blood

Great video and what an awsome walk-in Humidor.

I think the only thing I would have done different is to lower the ceiling. It would have been easy and since humidity rises I think it would be easier to keep humid. If you make a huge collection of cigars then it might be a requirement /

A 150 cigar DM treasure chest humidor costs like $1500, so under 1k for a walk in ain't bad at all!!

It is a standard door install except that it fits real tight. I did not want to use weather stripping because of the aesthetics and the humidity. I do have to remember to make sure that I close it until it latches.

Jim. I have not noticed any droplets. The company that I purchased it from designs and supplies all of the materials for building commercial walk in humidors. One of the features of this unit is that the water droplet size is extremely small. You can hold a piece of cardboard in front of it while it is running and it does not get wet. They said that this is very important for humidifying a walk in humidor. I am very pleased with it. I gave the contact information to Cigaraddiction for his build. He purchased a larger version for his project and says it is working great. Check out his channel and his build series. Let him know that I sent you. Good Luck.

I worked on it off and on for 6 months. I took my time. The electrical cord goes through the wood at the base of the door and is sealed. I also sealed around the door. I have had it up and running for over a year now and it is working perfectly. Thanks for the interest in my channel.

With mine I do not have a problem with maintaining my temperature or humidity. If you are having this problem, some weather stripping could be good. Make sure that it is opened at least 2 days per week for air exchange. Only open it long enough to grab your cigar. Your humidification system will take care of any droppage in temp and humidity.
