@@kiwiburciaga 2 Timothy 1:7 is a good verse. However life is full of challenges for both non Christians and Christians. Suppose someone is selfish and neglects his wife. That's a very challenging matter to overcome. It's possible but people have got to be willing to put the effort in.

If God touches you with adversity, none can remove it except He. And if He touches you with good-He is Capable of everything. Qur'an 6:17 Say, “Have you considered? If God took away your hearing and your sight, and set a seal on your hearts, what god other than God would restore them to you?” Note how We explain the revelations in various ways, yet they still turn away. _Qur'an 6:46 • And they say, “There is nothing but our life in this world, and we will not be resurrected." • If only you could see, when they are stationed before their Lord. He will say, “Is this not real?” They will say, “Yes indeed, by our Lord.” He will say, “Then taste the torment for having disbelieved.” • Losers are those who deny the encounter with God. Then, when the Hour comes upon them suddenly, they will say, “Alas for us, how we have neglected it.” And they will carry their burdens on their backs-evil is what they carry. (Qur'an 6 :29-31) •And warn with it those who fear to be gathered before their Lord-they have no protector or intercessor apart from Him-perhaps they will grow in piety. • And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord, morning and evening, seeking His attention. You are not accountable for them in any way, nor are they accountable for you in any way. If you drive them away, you would be one of the unjust. (Qur'an 6:51-52)

• Say, “I was commanded to serve God, devoting my religion exclusively to Him. • And I was commanded to be the first of those who submit.” • Say, “I fear, if I disobeyed my Lord, the punishment of a horrendous Day.” • Say, “It is God I worship, sincere in my faith in Him.” • “But you can worship whatever you wish besides Him.” Say, “The losers are those who lose their souls and their people on the Day of Resurrection.” That is indeed the obvious loss. • They will have layers of Fire above them, and layers beneath them. That is how God strikes fear into His servants-“O My servants! Beware of Me!” (Qur'an 39 : 11-16)

If you understood what happened in the garden, you would know what we received and that is what they teach. And thats the problem with people who do not understand that very concept.

@@darz3829 Well the revelation of christ in you. That is what it is all about. In the garden God breathed life into the clay after he formed it. So many skip this. The meaning here is the spirit is what gives life to the flesh and not the flesh life to the spirit. Adam fell after the knowledge of evil. After Adam all men died. Which means they walked after the inheritance they received from their earthly parents thinking it was them that created them. Lets go to eve, she was mesmerized by this tree that was good and evil. We too get the same way being in this world which is full of both good and evil. Evil is whats us not believe . Jesus came and actually taught us how to believe. Planting good seeds and new beliefs in us. The kingdom of heaven is in you. Yes we need to renew our minds and walk after the spirit which was created in his image. We plant it in our minds, water it and it will create a harvest because they very one that created all things is in us all and we in him. You do not purposely make your lungs work so you dont stop breathing. Its not easy to do. It will also work with bad so be careful of what you plant. If you go back to the garden, it says and man became a living soul. That soul is the garden.

@@dw3403 A few things -- First, the tree was not "good and evil." It was the tree of the KNOWLEDGE of Good and Evil. Also, you reference the bible. The bible is a book written by men who never even met the people they wrote about (many many years after). It is also heavily edited by a church that had a power and politics agenda, eliminating a number of chapters. In addition, there isn't just one Christian bible - there are at least three with different numbers of chapters. There exists no provable, fact-based evidence to support any of the supernatural (spiritual) events in it. Thus, it is pure human belief - a human emotion and dependent on as many human thoughts as there are humans. To believe without factual evidence is like saying a court case should be determined by only hearsay or a feeling. It's hard to think God wouldn't hold humans to a standard that they hold themselves. So you are referencing a work of fiction. ANYTHING supernatural or spiritual that is taken from the bible is hearsay, feelings, beliefs, hopes, and tales of imaginations, and not proven with evidence.

And we need to remind ourselves of that daily. He said it is no longer I that lives but christ in me.
