Very much agree (from a Brit) We have never seen games from the (enemy) side. Also most Germans in WWII were just normal boys/men just fighting for the country just like every other country.

Also I watched a mini TV series 1-2 years ago on the BBC about WWI, it was about two basically boys one from Great Britain the other from Germany both had a family/girlfriend. The first few episode was about before the two went to war and the few after that was being in war. It was pretty sad really, I won't say anything else if anyone might watch it someday haha. Also I got more attached with the German kid.

But Germany was kind of the bad guy in World War I. Germany used the assassination of Franz Ferdinand as an excuse to invade Belgium (a completely neutral country at that point), where they massacred towns, to attack France (also neutral at that point), killed British civilians in a war time attack for the first time in roughly 500 years, and practiced unrestricted submarine warfare. More about Belgium: "Germany invaded neutral Belgium on 4 August 1914. From the next day, civilians were executed en masse... the German troops rounded up inhabitants of surrounding villages. Victims were selected and shot, those still alive being killed off with bayonets. By 8 August, nearly 850 civilians were dead. on 23 August, the worst massacre of the invasion left 674 people, one out of every 10 inhabitants, dead the university town of Louvain (Leuven), where the treasured university library was burned and 248 civilians killed." And in this case nobody can argue with the "innocent Wehrmacht" response (used to defend the Wehrmacht of WWII), considering these massacres were carried out by the troops themselves. Overall Germany massacred roughly 6,000 inhabitants of a previously neutral country on their journey to invade another neutral country. It was also during World War I which the Ottoman Empire (another Central Power) began the Armenian Genocide in which upwards of 1 million innocent civilians were killed in the form of poisoning, drowning, lethal gas, and mass burnings. August 1, 1914, Germany declared war on Russia. Russia had not yet declared war on Germany. August 2, 1914, Germany invades the neutral country of Luxembourg. August 3, 1914, Germany declares war on France. At this point France had not declared war on anybody. August 3, 1914, Germany seeks passage through Belgium for its troops in order to reach France, Belgium declines. August 4, 1914, Germany invades neutral Belgium, in response Britain declares war on Germany. August 5, 1914, German troops begin executing Belgian civilians. There are very few accounts of Belgian guerrilla fighters prior to August 5, 1914, and even if there were the Germans massacred neighboring towns as well as towns suspected of harboring fighters. The Germans also killed woman and children incapable of fighting. And massacring civilians is inexcusable for any reason. Also, if Germany's actions were simply in response to Belgian offensives, why would Germany construct "The Wire of Death"? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skirmish_at_Joncherey This was prior to Germany's or France's declaration of war. French troops moved away from their own border as to not aggravate the Germans. Yet the Germans attacked French sentries, and killed one officer. It is so plainly obvious who the instigator of this conflict was. TL;DR: Germany at this time was an opportunistic war monger, invading many neutral countries. The Armenian Genocide is not excusable in any sense.

The sandstorm will much likely be part of the dynamic weather system, like we already saw on the other map with the sunny/rainy/foggy weather. :)

ya that was my favorite also. that was my first battlefield i played and i loved the campaign mainly because of the humor between the protagonists. i really hope there is some funny moments in this game's dialogue.
