The funny thing about black men being at peace is it draws more attention than anything else. I cannot tell you how many times a big deal was made out of me doing things by and for myself.

Brothers should really try “peace” stacking. Take a half day and do a number of things that bring you peace back to back to back. My routine is working out, meditation, sauna, steam room, hot tub then a 90 minute massage. Definitely worth it & doing them together is a force multiplier.

Just the awareness your channel brings is impeccable. Males typically view losing virginity earlier as "a badge of honor"... However, I can't even the amount of men have told stories of losing their virginity (in their early teens, or some younger) to a mother's friend, or grown woman. At the time, admittedly, (myself, and other young teenage males) were somewhat enamored by things they explained they experienced with these grown women. Granted, even if any of them made up the stories, too many of them were very detailed, and names were given. As a man now, I realize how psychologically damaging that can be, and how it totally reshapes a young males view of women, intercourse, and male/female relationships. Great content, and we appreciate your work

I like your work, brotha. Keep it up. That poem was 🔥. I don't care for poetry like that, but that was deep. But didn't the article with the 11 men interview seem like the person that wrote it didn't actually interview anyone??? More like, the writer was asking questions and answering with old media talking points. Basically, the editor and the media are telling us what we want....again.

It would seem that the current political climate has fully adopted an open rejection of traditional masculinity or men in general which is echoed within the black community. The "new" divide in politics has aligned itself as such. There will be three major categories of the black male response: Some will double down on their current political party, the right will gain more support, and the rest of the voter will check out due to political rejection.

I'll address the Elephant in the Room. Search the annals of time, try to find a benevolent leader that came from a privileged class and a heart for the "common man". It's infinitely easier to find depraved megalomaniacs, more than willing to exploit such people. Making one's self reliant on the power structure is a fool's errand. Please review this writing of the historian, Alexander Fraser Tytler. -- A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage. (Please contemplate the Black Man's place and importance within this contemporary scenario)

@slickrick8046
@slickrick8046 Месяц назад
@@BlackThoughtChannel The “founding fathers” were decedents of people who were ran out of Europe. But the overall point is that “DEMOCRACY” doesn’t work. A majority of the people are not equipped to make choices and decisions for the benefit of the entire nation. The Pareto Principle exists in all forms of life…there’s the vital few and the useful many. When the useful many is in charge…you end up with Cuba. A situation where the vital few took their ball and walked off the court and went to go play in Florida.

My guy we can't even get a healthcare system on the level of any normal modern country. Where is this largesse that you speak of? I really wish people would stop analyzing the economy from a false right wing stand point. We are in the imperial core. The actual capitalist hellscape. We are also ruled by the minority in this country. I'm still sitting here trying to think of one thing the majority has been able to "vote in" in this country, and I can't think of anything. So what are you even talking about?

Understanding how the editorial process works I cannot take an article like this too seriously as accurately representative. These are likely a set of highly curated responses. If the goal is to make Black men who support Trump look politically infantile, then selecting responses that are shallow and apolitical does the job. This approach effectively wraps black misandry and anti-Trump rhetoric in one neat package. It serve to chill discourse on the failings to the Dems regarding policies that benefit Black people, black men in particular, while also casting Trump supporters, and by extension Trump himself, as immature and dangerous to democracy. This approach is clever in that it signals those talking points without stating them overtly. I am not a Trump supporter. I am not a Biden supporter. I am an advocate for a multi-party system in American (3 viable political parties or more).

Does our voice even matter? I don't think ppl care about our opinions. I was watching a politician speak at a rally on tv.. and it dawned on me. She was talking all this good shidd but she's not speaking to black America were not even on her mind to be included in the conversation.

This article clearly illustrates that the average American lacks sophistication in political analysis. It is particularly disappointing to hear Black men discuss these issues and candidates on such a superficial level. This lack of depth in political understanding contributes to the “mis-leadership” and lousy outcomes we currently experience.

Listen, you don't have to be extremely articulate to choose the better candidate for president. You can just believe that Trump is the better person for the job. Based on he was President before. And our economy was alot better. There was no war, and our borders were secure. Trump was respected around the world and he could complete a sentence. Other then that, we as black men and men in general will get to talking, and decide then what's best for us. That's all.🙄
