In a previous video I explained how you could use a 5 gallon bucket as a composting station. I got lot's of questions around "what do I put into my compost?" So I decided to go to work and document the process of making compost and a simplified explanation of what you put in compost. I hope you enjoy and happy composting.

I like that tip - just because you didn't get around to eating it, you still get your money's worth. It's just in a different way. Great video! Super informative.

That compost looks really nice. I also use a little bit of the native soil in mine as well. Nothing like some good compost you made your self!

Thank you, trying to get it done. I do at times add a little soil, thanks for reminding me. That's a really great tip for everyone. Check out Mittleider Gardening Method. Many videos on YT. One explains the history of the method. They use Trace Minerals to feed all the minerals plants needs.
