what Ismael says is pretty accurate. My sister and I were planning to find a place together when I met him. I hesitated making him wait but I wanted desperately to see if he would. We saw each other nearly every day from November and December. On December 24th he proposed to me. Was I ready so soon? at 33 years old and never married? I can’t tell it is the right thing to do but I must say it was a little rocky at first. He had not only been married before but had three daughters. He was so sweet and cute too. I desperately tried not to copy my mother. When I did ask him to put his clothes in the hamper and put the toilet seat down after, he didn’t ever need reminded. Wow, I knew this was special. I gave him time to go fishing or work on cars with his friends, not wanting to smother him. We’ve been married 30 years now. We always kiss and hug good night and before he goes to work everyday. He’s my best friend, my ‘soulmate’. Every day starts amazingly. It’s up to you how it ends.
I have learnt the hard way showing a man how much I liked him and ignored my instinct initially and now feel ashamed. I recently learned a man will be kept only if he wants to no matter what we do. He told me he couldn't be the rock/right person he wanted to be for me due to travelling and workload but deep down I knew it was invalid excuses. I noticed that following these advices became so much easier after I consciously give up waiting for validation or interest from any man I desire, because It was only a rejection wound that made me look for it. Then, I got back the conscious of my high value and rationally let go of any attachment. Following these advices was a natural response of my inner stand. Ladies, we have to be more rational, because putting your heart in every decision will only get It broken.

I believe all of us have intrinsic value that has nothing to do with what other people think. But I also want to use kind words to show other people I value them because they exist for a reason. and get results in relationships that are good. So this can be useful. As long as nobody thinks it has anything to do with their intrinsic value. That doesn’t go up and down based on anyone’s evaluation.

You're wrong. An objectively kind, good, loyal and loving woman is objectively valuable to EVERYONE. Because, if they had her in their life, their life would 100% improve, no matter who they are. Just like precious metals are valuable for everyone. But some people don't like them, that's a different story. When someone preffers silver over platinum, moisanite over diamonds, it doesn't mean that platinum or diamonds wouldn't be valuable to him if he had them. It just means they have their own reasons for preffering the cheaper option.

No amount of effort would make a man love you simply because because you’re good, kind, loyal and loving. Unfortunately it’s no different from people who like gold but hate silver or like silver but hate gold. We are all valuable, but coming to the realization that some people prefer others, different from us, good and all, is what sets us free.
I need to work on myself to make myself more valuable. Not for a man but for myself and to give back to the society that I came from. I've had a lot of traumatic experiences which still give me nightmares. It's like if I take 2 steps forward towards improvement, I'm pulled back by 10 steps. But, I go on no matter what. I constantly keep repeating in my mind that I am healed, I have no traumas, I don't need external validation, I am blessed with a healthy body, a kind heart and a pure soul. I read, exercise, prepare for competitive exams, write research papers, paint, cook, clean, take care of cats, etc. I'm trying my best and I will emerge better than the rest.

To answer the question.... You have to do both. You need to have it in your head that you have worth. You also need to put the work into achieving that very worth. But you aren't doing the work for anyone but you. Seeing is believing and having a good mind set makes the effort possible. Mind, body and soul.
If you start thinking you are valuable it doesn’t matter if you haven’t start that degree you’ve been thinking about or if your closet is a little messy, you know that you will work on those things because you have the mindset shift and you trust yourself to get where you want to be. This will help you set boundaries too. So yes I think mindset automatically makes you a more higher value woman because you’ll put up with less and be motivated for more within.

Yes Ismael, I agree partially because values are intrinsic and comes from birth so it doesn’t matter if you have sex on the first, third, tenth date if he really likes you he will stay by your side no matter what. And about the boundaries, same thing happens, if he is into you, it doesn’t matter if you change your opinion, say one thing and does another, most men are confusing and don’t know what they want, so why should women be different?
I am happy to found you. I am divorced 4 years, look good for my age, educated and very sucessful in work and earn enough for me and child. But love life is disaster. I had no parents so nobody teached me to love my self. That was source of all my problems with man. You have teached me a lot in only 2 videos I have seen today.

I'm going to comment without even watching this video, what I believe the traits are that men consider high value in a woman. I have NOT watched the video. 1. Establish clear boundaries 2. Have your own interests 3. Do not be afraid to tell him no. ( Do not always cancel or rearrange your own plans to accomodate him). 4. Remain the 'chooser' rather than the 'chaser.' (Men are born hunters. Refrain from texting him repeatedly with no response from him.) 5. Remember that men have feelings and emotions too Now I'm going to see how close I came. Which I think will be pretty close. And it will strengthen my own belief that it's not what I'm doing wrong, but a real lack of people that are long term material, who have not allowed the disappointments of life to leave them cynical. Show me a decent man my age, who's polite, self aware, makes the most of any situation, and I would be all in. But there are none 😢

I've been in a long distance relationship for 3+ years, it's very hard, sometimes my insecurities step out, he assures me that he's never cheated on me, I've never spoken to him on the phone we communicate on a dating site, he's a Psychologist for autistic children and reason being that we don't talk on the phone is what he told me. I told him you can get a different email, because this site is expensive, he trusts this dating site more than he does me? I don't know if it's true, I want to believe him, sometimes red flags creep out, too long to explain, I just don't know, it breaks my heart to think any thing different.
So basically you're telling me that I wasn't good enough just being myself. That myself just isn't going to be good enough for a man That's what you're saying. You're saying that I need to act differently than who I am in order to become a high value woman for some man. You're saying I need to play hard to get. I mean that is what you're saying because I would be lying to myself if I didn't just be honest with myself and admit that the only reason I'm even talking to a man is because I am actually interested in him. And if I act like I'm not interested and I have better things to do then all I'm doing is playing mind games with him from the beginning. And if that's what men want then it is in my best interest to steer clear of them. You actually have to be worth something to a man in order for him to see your value. And it seems to me like the only women that are worth anything to men are like rock stars or actresses because they are extremely good looking and they have a lot of money and they are smart. I'm just an average woman who works for minimum wage and according to several men I've asked I'm around a five out of 10 and definitely not worth pursuing. I think you show your value by pouring love into yourself and having your own back that you are so full of love that you’re not dependent on anyone else to fulfill this for you.
I believe we are what we believe. so when we believe we are valuable we are perceived as valuable by others. But that said when we work on ourselves, follow our ambitions and goals our value grows. When we reflect upon our traumas and work through the healing, we become better version of ourselves. so it has to be a right balance of working on ourselves and believing in ourselves. If we simply believe we are the best from a place of arrogance, the facade will soon fall off and if we work on ourselves to fix our value, we will end up feeling more inadequate.
Every woman is high value, some are just too hurt , suffered trauma in childhood or growing up, that they forgot that they are already high value. I was like that, i grew up with abuse that stood between me and realising that I am already enough and high value and have so much worth in myself. I wish every woman works on herself, her wounds and trauma that she heals herself and realises her value

Christ Jesus will show you what it means to be a high value women. It wasn't until I found Christ that I now know what it means to be a high value women. God's grace and mercy and truth has showed me that being a women is a crown jewel. God created Eve for Adam a helper, As women learn to respect yourself in a divine way the way God intended Men would realize and see the value in women and the harmful belief of the world's view of what women should be will be buried and gone. for it is written in scripture, A godly women is to be praised. As I found a jewel in the crown to her king (partner) for the king of kings who sits at the right hand of God. when you do it God's way, you have peace and real love, an undying love.
