Thanks for the thoughtful comment. A lot of people think a Christian organization or college is all about Bible-thumping but I can say if you associate with a Christian organization, there are so many other benefits. For instance, my church does a lot of community service by collecting home goods, clothing, food etc and using those items to assist those in need in our local community. We have volunteers who come help with these activities that aren't Christian...they just heard about what we're doing and wanted to help. Some are not religious at all and others are of other faiths...but they are welcomed to join for these causes and we've often gotten such positive feedback about the warmth and fulfillment being around us has brought them. It matters not that they aren't Christian.
Yeah, real Christians don’t preach _at_ people, they preach _to_ people; and their “preaching” doesn’t always involve religion. Sometimes good preaching just involves the *truth* in real love, no matter the subject- both religious or secular.
it seems that way because they didn,t show the dumb interviews that they got. Notice how only six people are talking the whole time and then they switch back in fourth between them to give you the feeling that there are more people being interviewed. These people are being asked open ended questions and not challenged whey the answer like when he said what to you thin of socialism and she said it sucks. he didn't ask her to justify that he just said fair enough because it matched the viewpoint this video wanted. Also in the beginning on the kid who contradicted himself by saying abortion should be illegal and then said we should minister those with unwanted pregnancies and encourage them not to do that. That implies giving them a choice which means make it legal. YOU CAN GET THESE QUALITY INTERVIEWS FROM ANY UNIVERSITY the reason you see dumb college interviews is because that interview that has an agenda! Everyone you liked your comment and this video for a similar reason was just successfully manipulated.
@@GordoGambler You do realize the entire comment section for Prager U videos are a giant echo chamber right? Stop being an NPC and actually use your brain.
I've tried to think of what I would feel if I got a girl pregnant and it was up to me for an abortion. I think I wouldn't want to deal with having to grow up so fast ( I'm only 20 ) but I would not get an abortion. The chance to prevent a baby from being born has already passed. There are multiple ways for women to prevent getting pregnant, then combine them with a condom and it's pretty unlikely to happen. I think rape should be an exception when it comes to abortions but if that was legislated then there would be a large increase in " rapes ".
@@joshwolfe8208 Nowadays women can claim just about anything as being rape and you better believe her or you're a rape apologist. I wonder when the presumption of innocence and evidence being required for accusations went out the window?
@@joshwolfe8208 When a woman is administered a rape kit at a hospital they ALWAYS offer the morning after pill. ALWAYS. EVERY TIME. Even with rape, there is no point to abortion.
Those are mutually exclusive. You can't say "I feel bad for women with unwanted pregnancies, but I still think they have to have the child they don't want to carry for nine months, then raise or throw away." Or you could and come off like the Alabama legislators.
Unfortunately these students are in the minority compared to the mindless, thoughtless, entitled, indoctrinated students that are being churned out by most of the colleges in this great country of ours. It is still ours but it won't be if we don't stand our ground.
as someone with not many Christian friends, I am LOUD about my faith and sure they poke fun at me about it - but I don't care. I've brought 2 of my closest friends closer to God, and as far as I'm concerned I have already done my job by planting the seed in their hearts. We don't always have to talk about Jesus.
A lot of parents are not concerned with their kids education. I hope your daughter ends up going to a real college. This school teaches lies. Like plain, obvious lies. The worst part is most people dont even have the educated to understand why, let alone discuss it.
@@autisticphaglosophy7128 For example, I debated one of their "Professors of philosophy" in Jacksonville Florida. And when I was mentioning the logical absolutes, the noted that inductive reasoning was one of the logical absolutes. Which is obviously not the case. They make the claim that atheism is the assertion that God does not exist. This is Also incorrect.
lol I definitely understand that stereotype, but I'm Christian, conservative and have extremely colourful hair lol. It's not necessarily an identifying feature. I wouldn't want people to see me and assume I was a leftist nut job due to the hair 🤣
@@monique-octowhale yes, judging someone by their looks is wrong, but no one is perfect. As Christians, we are supposed to separate ourselves from the world. To act different. To talk different. To LOOK different. To be so different that the world wonders what is special about us.
@@matthewgraham2619 Yea, a friend of mine lives and works at a farm, years of hard labour under the sun has turned his hair to a rather light brown color(originally black hair), and he was often mistaken for a leftist 😂
PragerU is simply picking clips that support their portrayals of different groups. Give the complete list of clips of students at each university interviewed and there would be a much different atmosphere shown...
this comment is so ironic "NOW THESE ARE FREE THINKERS!" beliving in god is literally the opposite of free thinking ....u are actually punished if u question your religion sooo...
@@jakeb3849 Yes...I gathered that tidbit when they named the school... I was being facetious and trying to be humorous, because Will mostly interviews the ignorant and indoctrinated. #jokefail
I understood what you're saying, but I think one could equally argue that they are being indoctrinated, because they are going to a religious college, no?
@@jakeb3849 No. I do not believe or is is it true that going to a liberal arts, classical educational institution is the same as being indoctrinated. Classical education embraces the study of literature, poetry, drama, philosophy, history, art, and languages. Most who are classically educated have a religious foundation that is supported by this type of education. In this type of environment the focus is strictly on the study of those subjects, and to explore, discuss, and conclude the entire spectrum of those studies. That is why, if you paid attention to the students being interviewed, it was evident the empathy and compassion they had for those who were in the opposite side of their opinion. Indoctrination, which sadly happens in most public education, is the process of teaching a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically and with prejudice.
@Jakob Brounstein Yes but it's not quite the same as the other schools, it sounds like the religious aspect of the school is quite small and even non religious people are welcome to attend. I'm an atheist but I'd send a kid there before I sent them to somewhere like Yale or Berkeley
@@armada854 , who cares if CCU sponsored the making of this video? They've paired w/Prager U because both promote AMERICAN VALUES. Looks like a FANTASTIC school producing some very bright and considerate students.
Put it like this. There are two barrels of apples that Mr. Witt owns. They both have the same number of good apples, and the same number of rotten ones. Mr. Witt intentionally picks only bad apples from one barrel, and intentionally picks only good apples from the other. He then presents these apples to his customers with the hopes of making these specifically selected apples the penultimate representatives of their respective barrels to his entire consumer base. When you only pick bad apples out of a barrel, you make the assumption that every apple in the barrel is bad. The same goes for good apples. Mr. Witt understands this, and he is trying to convey the Democratic Party as a barrel full of bad apples and the Republican Party as the opposite. Thankfully, I'm not stupid enough to buy apples from Mr. Witt.
@@loditx7706 my mans thats pretty controversial. I understand thats an opinion but lets just show respect and love for each other no matter the backround info.
@Kyle D It kinda is.... these people could be so much smarter and could achieve so much more if they use the rational brain that the alleged god gave them. Come on, it's 2019 and religion is on the path to extinction and for good.
Public schools use to teach this prior to the 1970's, when hippies and non Christians took over the school system, unfortunately public school no longer teach free thinking, and how to be a productive member of society, they only teach victimization, one sided options, instead of real education to create a mind that can handle diversity, and strong ability to learn to defend your stand on your outlook, without acting like a two year old tantrum on steroids, and still only stating options without facts. Now today's kids who grow up to go to college can only read books like Mark Twain, hemans poetical books, little house on the prairie, historical letters from George Washington and the Church, apocryphal scrolls, Septuagint only in Christ centered schools. These books and more are on the ban list at secular colleges in public schools. The only approved books on the list for public schools and secular colleges are stuff like, Harry Potter books on witchcraft and socialism, hitlerism, Darwinism and a few other theories that are on all on the outside of a classical education. limiting the masses view on education and preventing new Politicians, Presidents, Doctors and Secretary of States from merging out of our society. that is why there is a rise of college campuses Christian education and homeschool starting to outweigh public schools and secular schools because they're not offering a classical education, only Christian schools are doing that.
Seriously i kinda shock that there are college students who can think smart, educate and no screaming yelling...😲😲...woww..thanks god, he gives us hope through these university..
Unsurprisingly, nearly every comment praising this school mentions God. Almost as if finding a university that's Christian is, in fact, going to resonate well with Christians.
I was just wondering about this! There are a lot of so-called Christian universities that are now pushing many of the Left's agendas. It seems Leftism overrules Christianity at these schools. Has that been your experience at your current university?
Well, yeah. It's about conservatives. If he added in the circus music and hand-picked the 1% of students that would embarrass the whole community, he'd lose his job at PragerU. He gets to do that regularly with Democrats, though.
1% of students? UC Berkeley paid $600,000 for security in riot gear when Ben Shapiro came to speak and also had mental health counseling to anyone who was too upset to attend school that day
Love my school! I’m in the education program and am learning how to be a light in the public school system. I’m so glad they are training educators to impact the world!
It sure worked for the People's Temple, Jonestown, Guyana. This pure Christian community got an award from Rosalynn Carter, and were part of the Assemblies of God, but people chose to forget these things.
Patty Wheeler I question that. Why are they paying $30,000 a year for tuition? If they were truly free thinkers, they’d consider whether or not a degree was even necessary to serve God.
Well that certainly was a breath of fresh air. Nice to see that at least one University seems to be getting it right, and the students are benefitting. All seemed like nice, respectable, kids that would be an asset to any business. Thanks, Will. Find some more of these. It will restore our faith in mankind.
WOW this was an AWESOME change to see young people who THINK for themselves rather than just go along with the crowd. Their parents should be VERY PROUD... job WELL done you raised some awesome GOOD, DECENT and LOVING young people. This was wonderful and uplifting for me today!!

As someone who has also worked on other college campuses in several other towns, I can say without reservation that the maturity, and demeanor of the students at the CCU campus, has been FAR AND AWAY THE BEST I HAVE OBSERVED.

This is where I’m attending in the fall! Will Witt please come back to CCU, I’d love to meet you and have a conversation, I thought it was the coolest thing that prager u found CCU, although I’m not surprised, it’s a special place!
Of course there’s diversity of thought at a Protestant school. They don’t agree on most everything bc it’s about what you think. It’s accepting contradiction to be Protestant
Good to see there's a college out there that isn't indoctrinating kids with anti-western ideology. Interesting comments regarding the encouragement of multiple perspectives for consideration. Great to see that challenging students in good ways is still happening at schools like this.
These students have been taught how to think for themselves. And their Christian Faith grounds them in charity and truth. Awesome. What a refreshing change.
