Mark Tarver there’s a training that takes 1 week to complete and it’s a place that has cranes. You do in class work and on the crane training. This training is in the USA and it’s a nccco training. I heard it can help prepare you and help bump you up on the wait list but I could be wrong.
@@frantruck919 yes I know about the CCO classes but those are usually pretty expensive and they don't impress unions, in my experience its quite the opposite, it usually irritates them. So unless you have the money and plan on doing one of those classes just for the knowledge and don't mention that you didn't plan to mention the class, I wouldn't recommend that. Different places could be different in this regard, I am as always just telling yall through my vantage point.
@@frantruck919 imagine someone claims to do in a week what you do in 3 or 4 years...Namely to train a crane operator. There are alot of people taking these classes coming in thinking that they are ready to operate a crane and they are not even close. In my local you are not allowed to get your CCO until you are a 3rd year apprentice. When an apprentice has a faux CCO it generally makes them feel entitled to seat time. Which makes them irritating to work with which blows back on the hall.
Mark Tarver yea all good thanks Mark, winter just starting to set in now so getting wet and windy most days, as we all know wind is not our friend lol keep up with the vids mate you doing brilliant
@@TristamMayes yeah I need to be more consistent. I was finishing up my degree so I was a little short on time. Now that I've finished that up I'll be able to put out a few more. I think I'll be focusing more on apologetics/philosophy of Christianity tho. I'm sure I will loose some subs but hopefully I can help clear some things up for people.
