I do too. I heard he has a stutter so I am thinking if he does this is the way he controls it ??? If he has that problem he sure has done well with making movies hasn’t he? Not many people with that issue would even consider making movies and being in the spotlight, Amber has called him a fat old man but then why did she go with him marry him ?? I don’t think she liked him at all and certainly didn’t love him, I think his money spoke volumes to her. I don't think he is perfect but he seems to be honest about drug use , alcohol use and obviously was trying to not have what went on damage his relationship with children. He even tried to protect Amber from her doings .

This case has more than anything made me think about my own relationship too. I am SO grateful for my husband and our bond. I will think twice before i get annoyed with him having forgotten to take the rubbish out next time.

If you treat even a sweet woman like a dog she eventually will break in fact most abused people are kind in general thats why abusers choose them. The fact that he used the word " perfect" to describe amber when he first was with her its a word they often use. My husband sat in jail for 24 hrs accused of DA by his ex wife of 18 yrs. The man is a sea of calm and happy as a duck in water after a couple of drinks. All he did was, he finally kicked in a closet door after 18 years of being gaslighted. The man does not have a bad bone in him. The accusation was a heavy burden on his life for many years before we met and when he told me about the incident after 3 months of dating he was kinda convinced that i would automatically take his X's side just because i'm a woman. I have lived with two serious narcs in my life previously and know all the red flags to look out for thoroughly by now, the total pain in his voice when recounting the incident that made him finally smash the closet door convinced me of one thing only, he had lived through years of hellish mental and emotional abuse, just the same as i had.And i now have the best most loving and caring husband in the world.

You are absolutely right about that. I know from experience.. I have reacted badly when I was drinking til I blacked out every day to deal with the chaos and then I was gaslighted and put in jail. Now I stay away from any alcohol and I am trying to leave but I have two kids with him and he threatens to keep me away from my kids. Why can't people just accept it when we tell them we don't want to be with them anymore?? It's just not fair and I'm almost at my wit's end 😔

At 57 I really do not want to live like he does and I truly hope both of them continues with intensive treatment. They are both uncivilized.

I finally understood that it wasn't my fault but that I have been gaslighted, manipulated and put down all my life, by family members. Of course, I ended up with an extremely narcissistic man as I didn't know better. I understand Johnny, first the love bombing stage, it was just too good to be true, you are totally hooked, and when he had me for "sure" the gaslighting and abuse began, very subtle, and because this was a normal thing in my family, I blamed myself and thought it was normal. The guilt if I would leave him, the threats...as everything was my fault of course.....He is an extremely successful business man, money was never an issue, and for the outside we looked like the perfect upper-class family. But I know how insecure he really is. We are going through a divorce for the past 5 years now.... really exhausting. The smear campaign to the family, friends etc. As I never said anything to anybody during our marriage, nearly everybody believes him. It can be extremely frustrated. He has sued me twice, to prolong the divorce, everything he says is a lie, thankfully one of the cases I won, as I could prove him wrong on all accounts, but the big and important one is coming up soon...I know that he doesn't want me to totally break free from him, but I can't wait to get rid of him forever!!! As you said, for my own sanity!!! Johnny is a legend, a HERO for making this public and raising awareness.
