This a timely explanation considering the recent US college and university protests. As another has stated some of the participants believe it's a catchy phase. I do believe that the leaders of those protests know it's true meaning. Honestly all of this creates sadness within me. I don't know what the answer is. That said. Praying that all come to know the God of the Bible would be a good beginning.

I absolutely agree. Most chanting this statement do not actually know the antisemitic origins of the term. Gotquestions please do a video on the phrase Christ is King. It has also been hijacked by politics losing its true meaning.

The first thought that came to me with the expression "river to sea" is well expressed by Deuteronomy 11:24. May the Lord answer the prayer in Psalm 72:8 and fulfill the prophecy of Zechariah 9:10. Yes, may the Lord settle this dispute and make His peace when He displays His glory.

Christ is the New Testament equivalent of the Old Testament term "Messiah" and means "anointed one." It is applied to Jesus as the anointed one who delivers from sin. Jesus alone is the Christ. As the Christ He has a three-fold office of Prophet, Priest, and King. As Prophet, He is the mouthpiece of God (Matthew 5:27-28) and reveals God to man. As Priest, Herepresents man to God and restores fellowship between them by offering Himself as the sacrifice that removed the sin of those who are saved. As King, He rules over His kingdom. By virtue of Christ creating all things (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17), and accomplishing His work of redemption (Acts 5:31; Romans 14:9), He has the right to rule. Christ has come to do the will of the Father (John 6:38), to save sinners (Luke 19:10), to fulfill the Old Testament (Matthew 5:17), to destroy the works of Satan (Hebrews 2:14; 1 John 3:8), and to give eternal life (John 10:10,28). Christ is holy (Luke 1:35), righteous (Isaiah 53:11), sinless (II Corinthians 5:21), humble (Philippians 2:5-8), and forgiving (Luke 5:20; 7:48; 23:34). Christian: The word "Christian" comes from the Greek word christianos which is derived from the word christos, or Christ, which means "anointed one." A Christian, then, is someone who is a follower of Christ. The first use of the word "Christian" in the Bible is found in Acts 11:26, "And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." It is found only twice more in Acts 26:28 and 1 Peter 4:16. Christology: Christology is the study of Christ (Jesus) as revealed in the Bible. Some of the issues studied are: 1) His deity, 2) His incarnation, 3) His offices, 4) His sacrifice, 5) His resurrection, 6) His teaching, 7) His relation to God and man, and 8) His return to earth. Jesus: The Bible is about Jesus (Luke 24:27,44; John 5:39; Hebrews 10:7). The prophets prophesied about Him (Acts 10:43). The Father bore witness of Him (John 5:37, 8:18). The Holy Spirit bore witness of Him (John 15:26). The works Jesus did bore witness of Him (John 5:36; 10:25). The multitudes bore witness of Him (John 12:17). And, Jesus bore witness of Himself (John 14:6, 18:6). Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1,14). He is fully God and fully man (Colossians 2:9) thus, He has two natures: divine and human. He is not half God and half man. He is fully God and fully man. He never lost his divinity. He existed in the form of God and when He became a man, He added human nature to Himself (Philippians 2:5-11). Therefore, there is a "union in one person of a fully human nature and the fully divine nature." Right now in heaven there is "The Man, Christ Jesus", who is Mediator between us and God the Father (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus is our advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1). He is our Savior (Titus 2:13). He is our Lord (Romans 10:9-10). ~ Grace Evangelist John Stewart _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/

@@Relatedonthate I was saved in October of 2000. Like most Christians in the US I was taught that the Jews were God's chosen people and if I didn't want to be cursed.... that I needed to support Israel. Like a good Christian.... I supported Israel and do all the 'things'. I support the third temple, the red heifer and of course the nation of Israel.. Heck... I even went to a Messianic Church for awhile. But it never seemed right. I grew up and worked near the biggest population of religous and non religous Jews in the NJ and NY. So I had a pretty good understanding about secular and religous Jews. I knew from an early age that religous Jews can be very combative and many of them have a distain for Christians. So that was always in the back of my mind. About eight years ago there were a handfull of Pastors coming out of some Baptist circles who started to get some exposure for teaching that God's chosen people are in fact the church. They bascially were teaching dispensationalism verse covenant theology. Since these pastors were surrounded by so much contriversy I started to dig in for myself. The one thing that I had a real hard time understand is the idea that all you need to become a Jew is to be born of a Jewish mother. To become a Christian... God tells us that we must be supernatrually regenerated. God gives us a new heart with new desires after His own. There should be evidence of salvation becaise we become indwellled with the Holy Spirit and we should exhibit good fruits. We should continute to go through the lifetime process of sanctification as we become more Christ like. But a Jew.... just needs to be born of a Jewish mother. I also came to understand that over 60% of Israel is populated with non religous Jews. Tel Aviv is also the self proclaimed capital of the LGBTQ. I also realized that this idea of supporting the third temple and the red heifer as a Christian does not make sense. Why do Christian's want to usher in the anti-Christ? In addition I started to question the relationship of the US and Israel. I learned that many of the pastors in the US coming out of the major seminaries were taught the teachings of Charles Spurgeon. Spurgeon spearheaded the idea of dispensationalism and the Jews being Gods chosen people in the late 1800's. It turns out that the historic Church, Catholics, Orthodox and early Protestant Church all believe the same..... God's chosen people are the Church.... the new people of God. Gentiles were grafted into the tree of Israel. Fast forward to October 7. Again... something wasn't right. Why did it take 7 hours for the IDF to respond? Apprently Israel knew were the leaders of H@mas were located but they decided to decimate inocent men, woman and children and their homes and businesses. I watched Christian Pastors become apologists for Israel and their actions. It didn't seem right. So I started to dig again and came across the teachings of Steve Gregg. These teaching started to really ground me and confirm where the Spirit was leading me. As Christians we really need to discern the difference inbetween the nation of Israel and the people of Israel.... those who wrestle with God. There are also alot of things that I can not say because I will get censored. I'll be shocked if the censors will let this slip through. I would look into the work of Steve Gregg if you are curious to know more. I'm happy to answer any questions as well... but I am not an authority on the subject..... just a student.

( see Psalms 78 & 81) They are in the Romans 11: 8 stage now. That 1948 decision and associated implementation (pre/post) was 💯% worldly and political , no way near Biblical Religious Moral Humane Spiritual.
