Not in the LIRR yards . Most buildings where YM’s be at are a little shanty or brand new building

Don’t the diesel trains ever run on electric to Southeast before switching to diesel? If so, then it shouldn’t be the problem of North White Plains yard.

No, the DM locomotives switch to diesel somewhere between Grand Central and Harlem-125th St. Pretty much as soon as they get out of the tunnel, they switch.

To expand on this, the P32 is limited to 60 mph in electric mode. Parts of the Harlem line have 70 and 75mph running. So all P32 departing 125 are already in diesel mode.

@@Rittersport88 Genuinely a great place to work for. Good pay, great benefits, and a chance to move up. Came in a custodian, became a ticket seller, and now I'll be joining an upcoming locomotive engineer class. It's hard to get in, but once you're in the opportunities are endless.
