The senior HR business partner is a strategic and tactical role. A senior HR business partner acts as a communication bridge between the company and the HR department. Senior HR business partners handle and supervise the employee performance management plans with respect to the HRBP model. They are not just responsible for keeping and ensuring a healthy safe work environment, but their duties also involve developing healthy strategies for the betterment and improvement of the workplace to boost employee productivity.
Apart from handling HR tasks, they also ensure seamless compliance of people strategies with business policies so that everything fits with the organization’s objectives and goals. In collaboration with junior business partners, they work on extracting useful insights and create strategies based on collected insights.
