True! We mainly wanted a video to share with customers that call us - to explain what the sound is like (the low hum). Some inverters are equally as loud (in terms of decibels) but are far more annoying because the fans are smaller diameter and make higher pitch noises rather than the same calm hum.
Update your firmware. There was a firmware that helped with that around a year or so ago. Be aware firmware updates wipe all settings. This appears to also be a 2x unit.
@@nebulight Correct. We have a video on our channel that shows how to update the firmware to get rid of the buzzing. V 483 is notoriously bad in terms of buzzing.
Mine has a nasty buzz coming from it in idle and no shore power hooked up. Firmware says up to date. Now it's tripping breakers and throwing #8 error codes under load
@akerka3 Yes, I did figure it out finally. I have 2 separate locations supplying 12v house power. One location was accidently wired through a 100a breaker and one location was a 400a fuse. This caused my buzzing because the one battery location through the breaker would always buzz too then trip and the second location would have to do all the work on a 1500w load and it couldn't handle it. This caused my inverter to buzz loudly and then finally shut off due to being underpowered. I changed the 100a breaker to a 400a fuse and all the loud buzzing went away instantly.
