Partly correct. I have same bike Oscilloscope and clamp tests show. That when the AVC is off even at volume 20. It does 8watts per channel With AVC on (sitting still) it does something internally in the radio and you get 18watts with AVC on 1 Play your radio sitting still. With it on and off. You’ll notice

Added an amp, upgraded the factory speakers, I think the only way to get any bass is use a bag subwoofer setup or put something in the trunk. Thanks for watching, hopefully it helped.
You are going to need to find an "iPod" adapter kit or use a 3.5 type of bluetooth adapter. The problem is they discontinued the adapters from Kawasaki so going to have to get on eBay to find it. images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71rXGWkxXcL._AC_SL1500_.jpg OR www.picclickimg.com/d/l400/pict/283429919771_/Kawasaki-Audio-Adaptor-Kit-Fits-2009.jpg The only other option now that I know if is changing the head unit out. Wish I could be more of a help, when I did mine a couple years ago they still had the parts. Thanks for watching, good luck.
www.manualslib.com/manual/1119508/Kawasaki-Vulcan-S.html?page=53#manual Looks like you go to the ODO menu, press the left meter button and hold it, then push the right button to change the display. Not sure, out of town for a couple of days so cant try it but please let me know if that works. Thanks for watching...
@@RagerJackOfAll I manged to change it! its not 100% accurate described how to say, I might shoot a video on how to actually do it. I saw that few people are looking for this "option". Thanks!

There is an iPod adapter you can install in the left glove box, you would use the Aux for that. You can also get a Bluetooth adapter that will plug in instead of the iPod and play audio thru that.
