There's been a shift in British politics. With a landslide victory, Labour are back in power and the Conservatives are left to fight for the soul of their party. Keir Starmer is Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak returns to the backbenches. Key figures of the last Tory government - Liz Truss, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Penny Mordaunt - were ousted.
But there were changes elsewhere too. The Liberal Democrats had their best election ever (winning 72 seats), the SNP were demolished in Scotland, the Green Party took a seat off Labour in Bristol and forged new ground, while insurgent populist party Reform won 4 seats.
