In God's Kingdom there is no pain, no suffering and all creation is together in peace. God defeated death, no wonder even the little flowers are happy there and taken care of, God is so good and so amazing, all glory to the Holy Father, Holy Son and Holy Spirit.

Today, during the liturgy of the transfiguration, I was considering how the saints in heaven are eternally praising and worshiping the Lord, and I was hit with the realization that I would not be able to join them for any length of time, that I would get bored and distracted in a matter of minutes. Then I realized that I was thinking about it as if worshiping some bright light with no substance. Like singing towards a bright white wall for all eternity. I realized that if Christ were in front of me, in the way that He was with the apostles during His time on Earth, I could listen to Him talk for hours, days, weeks, years. My love for Christ is severely lacking, but at the very least I do love what He has to say. Now, this same day, I get to hear about this vision of heaven, where it is overflowing with "information" from the Lord, which sounds like the same thing, but undoubtedly better. This gives me a lot of hope for the eternal life. Thank you. And thank you, Saint Iakovos of Evia.
Thank you, this is very beautiful. I have to tell you that some years ago I had a dream that I was in heaven. The road was dirt the trees made the redwoods look small and the sun was an indescribable feel in my skin. I look to the right at a medium side field on the side if the road and it was filled with beautiful flowers. I thought to myself- I wonder if the flowers will talk to me? I then woke up. As I went through the next day with this question on my heart and headed out to Bible school. Our Pastor was giving the lecture that night which was uncommon and in the middle of the lecture he stopped and said; "you know, in heaven the flowers will be able to talk to us", and went back to the lecture. I know our ABBA listens to us. I so look forward to this day.
Thank you very much for this video. It really touched my heart. I have read many stories about people who went to Heaven for a while and came back. They all say that, in Heaven, nothing dies and everything has sentience, even the flowers and the grass. What the Earth has for us here is nothing compared to what God has for us in Heaven.

I love your channel so much but I wish the climax of every story wasn't played at the beginning. It takes away from experiencing the story as the teacher wants to tell it to us 🙏
But orthodoxy doesn’t teach that we are to reside in Heaven. We were made for the earth. In the eschaton, the heavens and the earth will live in perfect union.

I'm kind of confused?? In the letters of Paul we read that our Citizenship is in heaven and Jesus in John 14 says that he is preparing a mansion for us. If you don't mind please can you explain to me?
Praying that there are animals in Heaven as well. Some say yes and some say know, either way let's try to do God's Will and not be concerned about the things of the world, which I'm the foremost guilty of.

Isaiah 11:6 says the wolf will lay with the lamb and the leopard too... In God's Kingdom all creation is in peace and there is no pain nor suffering. We probably won't be eating meat there either.
