Absolutely agree. Like him or not , DCE has vast experience and has won damn near everything. He can mentor brooks and unlock his potential. Brooks has vast talent but something was not working at the tigers. Frees up a lot of salary cap too.

He’s currently in the same position Andrew johns was in 1996. He’s had a lot hit him very quickly and handling it isn’t easy. I maintain he’s the closest the broncos have to having Allan langer play for them again. Since the little general retired. He just needs to calm down and as the weekend showed perhaps learn to not be all out attack on every play.
