“I hope that heaven is just as pleasant as the one you envisioned in your manga, sensei.” - Eiichiro Oda’s thoughts on Akira Toriyama’s passing Fly high Toriyama 😢
It's a sad day for rain, but nice Nujabes song at 11 minutes in... Akira Toriyama draws really great fights full of kinetic energy, and those kame school lessons to live well and long cannot be forgotten.
I never really fucked with most of dragon ball but from what I did fuck with I fucked with hard and I feel like this video captured what it felt like to love dbz and I think that’s just amazing man. Amazing video and hope you’re doing well wish you the best.
It's so sad how newer generation don't understand the implication of how amazing Dragonball is. It literally lay down the foundation for all shonen. They don't understand how shocking it was to have a villain that kept transforming and kept becoming more intimidating. Just imagine seeing goku go super saiyan for the first time. They r looking at it from the hind sight and say meh. People forget how revolutionary Dragonball was and how it motivate people to keep fighting.
Man what a video. The choice of music, the vibe and the way you get your point across is actually amazing. This stuffs awesome so I hope you dont get discouraged. As requested, Happy (late) Birthday. Wish you you a year of success *Z Kai Opening slaps BTW*
The quality of your vids and the vibe are all so immaculate and as someone who makes edits as a hobby that ssj transformation section was hard af. I’ve been wanting to start a channel for a minute and the way you make your vids is exactly how I would want go about it so you’re sort of like a blueprint if you will. Got me almost crying at the end with the feels. Once again I love the content and an early congrats in advance on 10k subs🙌🏾🎉
Fr i appreciate how you incorporate edits into your videos. I got hype af when that ssj edit came in. Also im with you on gohan, that's my boy. Looking forward to the next video.
Dawg you personified how everyone feels about the later dragon ball releases PERFECTLY. Both Bulma and 18 have molded my taste in women to what it is today, so I'm glad you agree that they are the BADDEST. Your edits are still the fucking coolest, and happy birthday!
This is a W video essay. Its very unique of you to add amv in the sections of your vid. I like how you take your self to seriously yet still has a level professionalism to still appreciate. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
This video summarized exactly how I found anime and got into it for the first time. Don’t step to me in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 though. You’d get rocked. W vid!! Edit: also, mad love since you have the same favorite arc as me and most people pick the frieza one.
@@ibi.mp4 Yea I been playing for a good minute but haven't gone too far in, doing post-ARR rn its kinda a slog but I heard Heavensward was worth it. What job do you play?
"And 17 ain't too bad either, if we're being real." - so emphasis on the iBI, huh? Bahaha, I kid. (for the record, I'm bi-romantic myself so there's no slander! :) I'm so glad that Dragonball's legacy continues to inspire and attach itself to people the way it did to me as a kid. I was born early 90's so I was the PERFECT age for when DBZ originally came stateside and believe you me, I was there for it all. It's so fascinating to me that people who experienced DBZ: Kai had similar experiences - it really just goes to show how amazing of a story DBZ really is. Funny enough - DBZ was not my first anime. I'd have to say that, as far as I can remember, Cardcaptor Sakura (or as it was known back in the day, just Card Captor) was probably my first *true* experience to anime in the same way that you said, "I didn't know what this shit was." Dragonball Z was the first anime I really became obsessed with and I'm sure many people my age can say the same - shit was insane and so unlike anything else at the time, it was just captivating! The way it revolutionized and popularized anime here in the West absolutely cannot be understated. I'm so glad to see that that has continued - I honestly think that Dragonball Z: Kai is responsible for the DB resurgence in recent years. OH AND I KNOW I'M LATE, BUT HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Real quick: look up Spirit Bomb by Nak, if you haven't already. It's a cool, catchy little rap that you might dig! Also, have you peeked Codenamesuper's fight commentary/breakdown videos? They're mostly DB-related and they are fucking HILARIOUS.
Sorry for the late response but ty 4 the birthday wishes. Spirit bomb by Nak was a fun ass watch and i'd never heard of codenamesuper but his shit is funny af. ty for putting me on :>
Happy Belated Anniversary of being born and having the task to live! I like You videos, I deeply adore Them with Their editing and how chill They are. So Thank You for living and existing and making something that brings Me and hopefully Yourself some joy! Please remember to not overwork Yourself or I will find and fold You. HOLY HOLY HOLY. This IS SUM else ya vids he definition of pure VIBES. Me and susan gonna have to talk if this dont bang. put your whole editussy in this
@@ibi.mp4 facts you should put dokkan battle in the description, Its the gacha games eight year anniversary, and alot of dragon ball fans are searching it up rn, would be nice to suprise them with a nice Dragon Ball vid in the algo or sum hopefully
Super manga, to me, was tbf actually pretty alright, the anime on the other hand only really is better than the manga in the tournament of power arc, which is just dissapointing to be honest.
@@ibi.mp4 honestly aside from the fact that toyotaro's art just has a lot of the old dragon ball style and is endearing, the movie arcs just feel more well polished and dont have a lot of filler mashed into them, manga chapters just dont feel recycled while a lot of the scenes in anime have obvious animation recycling which just feels annoying, and the moro arc, granolah arc, are aight, it's overall a proper read, not too many downs, not too many positives, just a good, well balanced read, and it sorta feels like the characters in play are open to being polished along the way.
Dorry fotr the late response. I've just updated the music tab up to the latest video. Most of the music is there now so just lmk if it's missing a specific track or something.
