But I respectfully disagree wholeheartedly with your position now. You speak of Gazan's resilience and steadfastness. You sent your children and family out of the danger zone, in the first months, and you remained behind. You cannot tell me that that father who has been stuck in Gaza, is steadfast after losing all their children and wife and parents! You can't tell me that what happened on October the 7th was right. The right to resist is fundamental but the context of Gaza and the calculations were absolutely wrong. You resist when you have ensured population can be evacuated. If you cannot secure that, you don't start anything. If I am a mother in Gaza now, I did not choose to have my baby already martyr because someone else decided for me in the name of resistance. Not because that cannot be done, because dying is easy, but because the net result of the innocent casualties is beyond comprehension. Are you saying that Hamas took all measures to ensure in all this scenario that citizens are protected? No? well then, you cannot start anything calling it a resistance.
