When I worked in factories as I was brand new in this country, I worked for several supervisors that sounded just like him. Clueless but very confident and arrogant. I HATED that guy since I first heard him speak to the media.

We got 5 picks in the first 3 rounds… if they can’t find two quality offensive linemen in a decently line rich draft class then this franchise might as well burn

Linemen hit and hit HARD, every play. Most "skill position" players rarely get that kind and of contact and certainly not with the same frequency. It is hard to keep linemen healthy through a 17 game meat grinder. Conditioning helps but playing in the line is where the murder is.

Seems most teams have O Line problems. Not enough guys are both strong and athletic at the same time. Injuries as pointed out. Takes years sometime to develop a lineman. If you think drafting a couple rookies will solve everything, forget it. Takes time. I watched my team's rookie tackle get one or two penalties each game this year. And he has been better than expected.

@@JamesSavik Absolutely. No question whether you are an O-Line or D-Line player. You hit and get hit hard every play during the game. Hat's off to those players that do that. Tough way to make a living. And I do believe what the say is true. The games are won in the trenches --- through the batles between these competing linemen.

Yeah under this new cba how teams operate doesnt help o lineman at all. Shorter times at practice, how o lines are schemed now you'll see guards pulling yes but it's more of a zone blocking scheme now. Basically means teams don't teach up o lineman as much anymore. So talent level for o lineman is down, factor in that parents don't allow they're kids to play football they have em play different sports like baseball. Theres technically a player shortage for football, it effects o lineman alot because how health is nowadays. Bigger people aren't around as they use to be. You could take any o lineman 20 years ago at any point in the draft and in five years he would be great because you had the time to develop, as a7th round pick now if your not producing when you are drafted you are axed quickly. Especially if your team has a young qb and the team is built up.

Well I guess that make the Chicago Bears vacancies the least attractive. ☹

Nah bro the reason Bieniemy isnt being considered as a top head coach candidate because Andy Reid still calls MOST not all But MOST of the offensive plays. Bieniemy is just the offensive coordinator IN NAME only. You noticed even in At the chiefs height (Super Bowl Win and runner up) Bieniemy didn't get a head coaching job. It's because execs and teams know Bieniemy is fools gold.
