What Grogu Just Did Is PURE GENIUS! (mythosaur) 

Grogu already showed he is adept in beast control when in that episode of The Book of Boba Fett when he calms the Rancour. I would expect Grogu to ride the Mythosaur at some point.

A jedi trained mandalorian. A interesting combo. A way for the Jedi to pay for past sins against the Mandalorian people.

Din Grogu (much later): Daddy, can I have a puppy? Din Djarin: I'll think about it. Din Grogu: But he followed me home. Can I keep him? (Mythosaur binds down to peer into their cottage.) Din Djarin: Holy--! I mean, really holy. Sacred creature.

Every Mandalorian can wear the Mythosaur. It's like a religious symbol. The Mudhorn is the symbol of their clan. So it's not weird to have both. Even Din Djarin has a Mythosaur necklace that Grogu worn once.

The Mudhorn symbol on the roundel was to indicate his clan membership. IRT the Din name, I believe that having family name first is probably the tradition from his planet Aq Vetina.

Grogu was training before order 66 , Luke stated that it wasn't like he was training Grogu it was like he was unlocking memories. Grogu is older than Asoka and could have even been in the same youngling class as Anakin would have been had the council decided to train him. This gives a loophole so at any time they can give him a growth spurt and level up his power to Jedi knight or even master given he had as many years of training as Anakin at the time of order 66 just didn't have the physical ability that a growth spurt would give him . He could literally go into a cocoon to morph and come out stronger in the force than ahsoka only lacking the combat experience that Mando could provide , and the lightsaber skills that Luke or ahsoka could teach. If you ad in Mandolin training a rebuilt Darksaber and a Mythasaur . Grogu could be a major character leading to the future . Could even turn the sequel Luke catastrophe into an Obi wan moment where his ghost sends Ray to train with Master Grogu.

Grogu is the Mandalorian, the show isn't about Din Jarin, but Grogu becoming the Mandalorian.

By creating Grogu the Star Wars franchise has created a new yoda…..a new hero that we all want to know about and see grow. The possibilities are endless

Personally, I think Grogu's animal connection ability also extends to humans.

Mythosaurs are force sensitive by instinct. Ezra had for beast control too

Disney and Dave have been subtly introducing the notion of balance, demonstrating unconventional abilities force users develop naturally when free from the dogmatic methods of either Jedi or Sith... Even though Ezra had Canan, he was free to explore his powers and was begrudgingly impacted by Maul's dark side edics. Ashoka, Grogu, Ezra, Cal and even Rey Adhere to the Whills of the Force, like the Bendu encouraged in Rebels ❤

I was confused by the OTHER giant creature on Mandalor that destroyed the skiff ship they were all on. What was that thing?

For one, I’m glad the dark saber was destroyed. The Mythosaur to me is a direct connection to the planet Mandalor and its peoples spiritual journey to find their home and leader. The dark saber was a man made distraction that sent the message that the spirit and will of Mandalor could be subverted by human strength. It brought death and dissension. Grogu being chosen by the Mythosaur, the spirit animal of the Mandalorians, to lead them is much more powerful.

I am definitely looking forward to more adventures with din . . . Or Jarin and grogu, and finding more about mando's personality. I loved the final, it was so wholesome, and it definitely opened up to even more deeper story telling for the next season.

I think you missed quite a bit here. Bokatan asked for the mythisaur, and the armorer proclaimed that she could, alongside the night owl, because no matter the clan, the mythisaur belongs to all mandalorians. Hence, why even Boba Fett even wore mythisaur and how all secret coverts can be found by a mythisaur markings that only show up to mandalorian sensors. Also, why you saw the mythisaur painted on the repurpossed Imperial ship.

As for Din I thought the writers explained why his first name was given to Grogu instead of his last (Jarin) it has something to do with him being a naturalized Mandalorian. Jarin his surname was not linked to any of the Mandalorian ancestral houses and clans like Kryze or Vizsla because he was adopted. Grogu is a foundling of a foundling so that’s why they had to use Din’s first name to pass on instead. None of the Jarins before Din took the creed it started off with Din who also adopted a non-ethnic Mandalorian.

Grogu protected them from the blast effectively earning the dark saber.

Grogu will lead for 850+ years. 🤯

But a cool scene before it goes to the Mythosaur would have been a shot on Bo Katan helmet with her seeing him reach out like that of her Tilting her head like now that’s intriguing. Then it would have been neat for her and Grogu to share maybe she would then talk to him about it to prepare him. I feel she would approve of him being the one

Din told the armorer that Grogu helped him kill the mud horn so he earned that mark as mich as din did.

There was also that scene onbthe beach where Grogu looked like he was moving rocks, but he was actually controlling those crabs

Because when he rides the Mithosaur, Bo Katan will hand over her leadership symbolically by handing over her Mithosaur stuff

Also, dont forget that Grogu...sorry Sir Din Grogu...lol...was able to sedate the Rancor at the end of Book of Boba Fett. That was a helluva feat man. I have no idea where they are going, but I am ALL IN for the ride!!

Grogu is part of the mudhorn clan so he got a mudhorn. Bo got the mythosouar because she asked for it lol no deeper meaning also how was the armorer supposed to know Jedi could tame animals?

I haven't seen any lore stating the crystal must be a certain size. This being said with the dark saber being smashed maybe the crystal itself possibly broke in two....... if that were the case then maybe we could see Grogu weilding dual darksabers in the future? Idk but that would be amazing to me.

Considering his track record Gorgu is probably more interested in eating the mythosaur then anything else.

If I was in Bo’s position I’d think seriously about the future Mandalorian’s born able to use the force. And ask Din Grogu if there clan could be basically a force user clan that’s just like the Jedi order. Of course not taking babies from birth or something like that. With knowing Grogu could live another 900 years that he would be the one to train these future Mandalorian special forces. Before he’s old enough to become a teacher maybe we could get a newly returned Ezra and Ashoka helping train these people. With both Ashoka & Ezra knowing how important the future could be with the jedi/Mandalorian’s growing close as friends. Then come time for the New Jedi Order movie we could see Master Grogu and his students meet up with what if any order has been growing with Rey & Finn. Think about it if we ever get to see The Vong appear in canon. Mandalorian Jedi covered in Beskar armor would be awesome sight

It could be like the Chinese naming system. The first name is the family name the second name is your personal name. Since ancestors and clans are so important to Mandalorians this would make sense.

The Mudhorn is because he is a clan of 2 with Din and that was their symbol together. I think if he has more time with Bo and sees her as someone important, he or she may see him getting a mythosaur symbol too.

When we first met Grogu he would force choke in self defense to protect himself or his adopted father. Now, after he retrained with Luke, he only deflects attacks instead of being the aggressor.

During the fight with the guards that attacked Grogu, at the end, did no one else hear Grogu say "thanks!" to Din Djarin after he says "good job kid?" 🤔🤔🤔

Did you miss where Grogu learns navigation from the Purgil? It is implied that there is a Force connection during the hyperspace sequence after which Bo Katan comments that he is a very good navigator.

He already has the mythosaur necklace that he took from Djarin in season 1. Little guy is dripping in jewelry already. The mudhorn is Djarin's and Grogu's clan "a clan of 2" since season 1, but its now official.

5:27 Bo Katan didn’t start the Mythosaur clan because she was better than anyone else, it was because she didn’t have any history with the children of the watch… i’m surprised that you didn’t understand this already when you made the video, but Grogu is Din Djarin’s son, so that’s the reason why he joined the Mudhorn clan.

Grogu’s species is probably one of the long dormant species originally from Mandalore. One emerges every couple hundred years or so.

“Din” is Din Djarin’s surname. He came from a culture that could be compared to many Asian cultures here on earth that speak their surname first, like the Kim family in North Korea.

They need too do a time skip he can’t be a little baby with armor and carrying the dark saber, now that season 3 concluded and the Mandalorian tribe are together they should do a mini time skip it’s not going to effect mando cause he always has his helmet on they need to make Grogu a little bigger kinda like Yodas size but much younger that way he can be fully baskared out with the dark saber

Djarin's family was likely from a culture that put surname first and individual name second. Like in asian cultures, in japan, the family name is first, not the person's name. So his name is djarin of the family din. He was rescued as a child, not a baby, so he kept that aspect of his heritage when he took the creed

Grogu is referred to as The Child and everyone things if him like he is. He's most likely in his 60s with all of the knowledge, experience, training, and memories of someone in their 60s. It's sweet that Djarin showed him on the technically for him to be an apprentice. I feel like Grogu is actually looking out for Djarin more than the other day around. Think what a teenage equivalent of Yoda would be like before he could vocalize Basic.

Group will be the next profisized Mandolorian Jedi. And like all Jedi knights( Even Rey Skywalker) will have to pass the Kiber crystal test and build his own lightsaber. Maybe even using the dark crystal 😮

I really hope if they redesign the dark saber I hope the hilt and blade look like a lightsaber but black. And it could have white lightening that’s sparks around it like the yellow does around goku when he’s SSJ3

In Rebels it's shown that some larger ancient animals are not only sentient but are strong in the force.

I don't know that animal connection has to be taught as ahsoka was also able to connect with animals as a baby

I don't see why one would assume that Grogu wasn't trained much or at all around order 66. When Luke trains Grogu he says that it's as if he was remembering more than as if he was learning...and doesn't Ahsoka say that he studied with different masters or something like that?

Can I just say about that mudhorn battle? WTF? You fight a 2+ ton beast and your best tactic is to face tank its every charge? That episode was so un-Mandalorian of a fight ever, lol! No dodging, no fancy moves to trap it, no riding the beast... wich would atleast have been fun ;) And in the end it die to a shallow stabwound? Wich also is silly since it lay eggs that the sand trade people like to eat, guess no futher eggs there... But maybe that's just me xD
