Just got 2 guinea pig dad liners for christmas! ♡ my Piggies are gonna love them! Hazel and Honey have always loved burrowing and Ham loves to keep warm.
We purchased one of these, and it seemed wonderful! Our piggies were happy, the room smelled fresh and clean for a week! Swept the poop up daily with a small dust sweeper and pan. After the 5th day, it was time to wash the fleece. After washing and drying we then put the fleece back in the piggies house 😊 They were happy! But.... Our washer smelled of urine SO bad, even after running vinegar, bleach etc etc through it, the urine smell would not go away! Ended up with a new washer because of this. We now purchase fleece blankets from Walmart $2.50 and throw the blankets away every week. I am not trying to discourage anyone from buying one, but this was our experience 😷😱
This is the cutest thing ever!!!! An ADORABLE way to educate people and entertain them at the SAME TIME!☺️❤️ can’t wait to see more videos like these!😉
This video was such a great idea. I love the way you used the piggies to make such a great point about the various bedding ideas. I'm looking forward to seeing more animated videos starring your beautiful girls. I just love the Wolf as the realtor. Your girls really outsmarted him.
Aww this is such an adorable video I love your guinea pigs they are so cute and educational at the same time I don’t use bedding anymore I use fleece liners and they are great
Omg yay I’ve never had a RU-vidr comment on one of my comments or like one of my comments thank you so much my guinea pigs love their fleece liners and their crunchy condo ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
The only issue I ever had with guineadad liners was getting hay out of the fabric! But after I got a cavy kitchen, it helped cut down on the mess and smell. Hand vacuums work just as well though :D
This is honnestly why I went with the liners, and have a litter box rather than whole paper bedding. So before the big cages arived, i was housing my guinea pigs in small cages, and changing it every three days. I could change three cages twice with one bag of paper bedding. This was costing me so much, so when the girls moved to the big cage, they got fleece liner and a litter box that had paper shavings. I then switched to a guinea dad liner (2x1) in a store bought cage as my male recovered from being fixed. IT SAVED TIME, TROUBLE, AND MONEY. Now I just use a quarter of a bag of shavings once a week, and just switch out the liners. (The male now has a 2x3 cage). It's save so much money and clean time in the long run.
Ew I had to clean the wood-shaving bedding once a day. It got dirty very quickly and my guinea pig butts got all dirty from it too. Not only they got allergies, but I got allergies too. It was very easy to switch to fleece liners. I didn't know you sold fleece liners. They don't ship to Costa Rica though 😢
Ericka Céspedes EVERYDAY!? I use wood shavings and I change it out once every week if you fill the bottom of the cage enough it should stay dry and all the poop should fall to the bottom layers of the shavings. I bought a fleece liner and I personally don’t like it for my pigs main cage, it get soiled to quickly and if you don’t work from home you don’t really have time to clean it so often. I do use it for their playpen though.
I love this so much! The animation is cool and the story is actually cute and it helps me learn about them more. I don’t have guinea pigs, I have rats and I’m sure this is the same for rats to
Thank you, I am glad you found the video to be helpful and cute 😊 This is our first animation, but will continue to produce educational and fun videos for the guinea pig parents 👍
My piggies love the guineadaf liner so much, they can lay on it while eating, but they never do ít before with the shaving bedding. They can sleep without the hidey also
I have a very loud sassy guinea pig her name is Luna and I use paper bedding and we clean the whole cage once a week her cage is small so I might consider buying a guinea dad bed and a dog cage in the meanwhile for her not to escape so she has more space :) lol your guinea pigs are so cute
FLEECE Btw the best way Ive found to clean the poo is connect a vacuum to a bucket, and connect a vacuum line to the bucket. Then the poo and other materials go in thr bucket and you csn dump it out. Works great. The pigs are so unafraid of vacuuming now many times I try to nudge them over a bit to clean where they are and they actually refuse to move. Go around me dude, Im eating.
@dynjir The bucket is connected to the house central vac. If you havent heard of central vac look up that term. Most people dont have that so Im lucky that way. The air that goes through the bucket vents outside. You definately would not want to do this with a vacuum that vents into your home, because there is mold in there. If you dont have central vac, you could use a shop-vac connected to the bucket, then connect a second hose to the vacuum outlet and have the hose go out a window. Hope I explained that well.
@@dynjirAlso they have their own washing machine that I picked off the curb, someone was throwing it out. That way all this filthy bedding doesny have to go into the same washer as our clothes. I use the same dryer but they are clean when they go in. White vinegar and a small amount of detergent is perfect to keep them neutral smelling.
Right on! I love your liners, I have 2 extremely large c and c cages, so it's gonna be pricey! I have regular uhaul liners, some double absorbent, and 1 by 2s and potty pads, but I want to purchase liners from you so badly! I've seen so many RU-vid videos, they look wonderful, so hopefully with any Christmas funds I receive, I can order a few and go from there. Wonderful video, Si!!
Our last fleece liner was kinda low quality and got nasty/moldy after a few washes so we’ve been using hemp bedding for the past 2 months. We just got a new, bigger cage and are hoping to switch to a proper liner soon !!
There are other options for bedding. Can you compare them too please? (what about corncob shavings? Bark shavings? straw-pellets? linen shavings? hemp bedding? plant fiber bedding? cotton shavings? etc) Your liners do sound awesome, but you only have 3 different type sizes. which dont fit into all cages. can you make more sizes?
Wait what should I do because my mum said something about we might just put a blanket is that OK because just today one of my two youngest Guinea pigs started sneezing non stop today but I think guinea dad would be better than a blanket because my mum said it would also be annoying washing the blanket so can someone please help me 😘
Any bedding besides fleece is super expensive, more difficult to clean, and wasteful to the environment. If you can't make your own fleece bedding, definitely get some from guineadad
We are just letting you know that what's best, but everyone's situation is different. By at least using GuineaDad Liner partially, you are lessening the damage that much less! By the way, if you haven't already, go check our our newest innovation as well! It's been more popular than we expected and some sizes are out of stock though... guineadad.com/products/guineadad-premium-fleece-liner

Cool and fun video😉 but question with my pee pads i wash them everyday in cold washing with little washing product and let it dry flat but they are still getting very stiff even if i use vinager as softening is it normal?
What about washing mashine/ electricity costs? Most likely you would need additional washing mashine to wash piggies’s bedding. Not a great deal to me. Sorry
*it's sad for my sister's, guinea pig cause she had to put to sleep because she was suffering |we wanted too| :( at the end of the day i'm just a kid suffering, of the lost of our pet.*
I would love to buy guineadad liners do my guinea pigs but my parents say it's too expensive. I have showed your videos and website but nothing seems to work maybe it's because our cage is too pig. But I hope I will get it in Christmas! My piggies would be soo happy! Sorry for bad English.
We spot clean at least twice a day and wash the cage and the liners once a week. We also use pee pads on high-traffic areas and switch it daily. How do you maintain yours? 😊
When you realise you only can get wood shavings and can't get the expensive awesome guinea dad liners.:(( imma ask for some for my birthday hopefully I get some
You should definitely switch to a different type of bedding for your guinea pigs. If your eyes hurt from the shavings, imagine how they feel walking around directly in and on it.
Hi Anne! Sorry to hear about this but that should not happen. Could you please send us an email so we can assist you? Please kindly send us an email to contact@guineadad.com 😁
Good video ! Animations were good But ... you talked about prices without taking into account that water has cost when you wash liners. Anyway it's probably still worth it ! =)
