Huh, 4:22 I wonder if Jack realizes that "L for Loser" from Storm is also a callback to when they were Outcasts together. That's what they did to everyone after spraying an L on them. 😅👍
Catch on tv (all one word) is a program you can put on your smart tv for $60 a year and you get all the channels, ppvs and movies including those just released in the theaters
@@SefniAsheforr I don’t think his reign was gonna be great either way as a part timer, but it’s not like he got loads to work with when he was given to defences against Narita and EVIL, and even then I thought the EVIL match was good for HOT standards
@@ronald-xs7sp Vaquer, that's what it was. 🤦♂️ I knew it started with a V but I had only seen it spelled like 2 times that I can remember, but yeah she was really good. I like her gear and she kinda seemed better in the ring than Mercedes, granted Mone hasn't had nearly as much ring time lately and is probably still getting back into it. Regardless, I'd definitely like to see more of Stephanie Vaquer. 😄👍
@@johancon123no I went with a few buddies and there for DoN there was no sound and it was only on one tv. Everywhere else was sports. Such a huge waste of time.
This is my go-to channel to find out what I missed in the ppvs. Everyone else’s videos are annoying to me, but this channel gets to the point with great summarizing commentary.
That preshow really deserved Jarrett putting over the Owen cup c'mon guys you get Japanese vs American dragon right there let him put it over so that gets a brown 👎 down. A forbidden RU-vid door if you will but I did enjoy the matches on the preshow. Mariah May is a fuckin Starr
Wish they made it more affordable, would have loved to watch it But 50$ for one show just isn’t viable in this economy, I mean, big wrestling fan and alll , but I also a big food and shelter fan, so…💀 Maybe if it was in the 19.99-29.99 range I could consider it *occasionally* but, yea- No wonder it’s down tbh- even the ppl who do wanna watch it can’t right now 😂
Just finished the show. Got to be honest, this was probably the AEW PPV I liked the least, only the Bryan, ZSJ and main event was good, the rest was boring to me.
Wasn't it winner take all for the main event unless they changed it maybe its a mandela effect but i remember the daniel Garcia vs will would be for both titles
Ospreay's title was explicitly never on the line, only the World. So yes both titles would have been on the line next week if Will won, but they were not both on the line tonight.
I'm a professional wrestling fan last night I watched AEW Forbidden Door with my son and Grandfather. Thanks to all these amazing athletes I can build memories that will last for generations. We enjoy WWE also but when it comes to a complete wrestling match bell to bell no company does it better than AEW. That main event was WOW 😲
I wasn't familiar with Stephanie Vaquer before the lead into the PPV but she was awesome at Forbidden Door. I'm a fan now and would love to see her wrestle in AEW.
I hope they bring in Starlight Kid or AZM for Wrestle Dynasty, those women are some of the GOATS of Stardom, and every time AEW does cross promotion stuff with Stardom it leaves me feeling some type of way when Starlight Kid and AZM aren't involved. It was nice seeing Tam, Momo, and Mina at Forbidden Door tho.
Cross over show sounds interesting. Seems this was the best of Forbidden Door shows so far. Hoping to see AEW keep working with other promotions to keep match ups and stories fresh. Thanks for in depth recap.
@@marcussmith6507Stupidity is catering to the local crowd? 🤔 Let's hope you never, ever get to book a wrestling show, the stupidity could reach unprecedented levels in that case.
@@AzaNaphtali they literally don't unless you count their wrestling school which is dumb af considering nobody OVW titles were never counted 😂😂😂😂😂 They have less titles despite having two separate brands 9 vs 16
Nobody looks strong beating Serpentico. If they are in a match with Serpentico on the pre-show, that means they're done for. Four-way tag matches are always trash. The third pre-show match should not have happened, and if you absolutely had to make it happen, it should have lasted less than 2 minutes. The 4th pre-show match should not have happened and if you absolutely had to make it happen, it should have lasted less than 2 minutes. ...5 pre-show matches? Five? FIVE!?!? Let's get to the main card: 1. MJF returned for this? First, his match with Rush ushers in the lowest-rated Dynamite ever, and now... this? WTF 2. We had five pre-show matches. This should have been one of them. 3. The wrong man won. 4. It's shit like this that's caused AEW to go from almost a million viewers to barely maintaining 500k viewers in less than a year. 5. ...fuck you AEW. Just... fuck you. 6. Oh, for crying out loud! WHAT DID WE DO TO DESERVE THIS!?!?! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, MAKE IT STOP!!! 7. Another match that should not have happened with a predictable and just outright rotten finish. Just rotten. 8. I don't even want to comment on this one because I don't even want to acknowledge the match exists. 9. It doesn't even matter that Naito is one of my favorite wrestlers at this point. 10. Finally, something good. AEW has apparently gotten to RU-vid. When I went to post this, RU-vid notified me that it contained inappropriate content.
@Myers369: If only Alan Angels was still in The Company. He could enter an AEW Ring with "Angels Want to Wear My Red Shoes" by Elvis Costello blasting on a Soundtrack!😂😉🎤😇😇👞👞🤼♂️B.W.
@@reymondlopez7468 For the exact reason the person before you mentioned. Instead of having a couple of hours of talking, people who may not be able to afford the product can still get plenty of matches for free. Also, for people who want to see what AEW has to offer and don’t want to spend that kind of money, they have a good sample. One thing that can’t be slated about AEW is the quality of their matches (granted, the style may not be for everyone and that’s completely fine), so instead of cutting short matches on their weekly TV shows to cram in more matches, or instead of leaving people off the shows completely, they are giving them a spotlight to perform still. The fans who can’t afford the PPV have a chance to see it, those who can’t get on the main show have a chance to wrestle and nothing is being taken away from the weekly shows or the PPV by just trying to cram matches in…it’s a win win win. AEW can be slated for many things (which hurts to say since, for a short while, they were the best week to week wrestling product on TV), but I don’t see a single issue here
Is it just me, or is Toni Storm soon going to be giving Nia Jax a run for her money?? A crying announcer was PERFECTION for this match…EASILY as emotional as Cody winning the title!!! Well done AEW, and Nigel!!! Really ‘GREAT’
I am so confused about the Mox/Naito situation. Like if they're just gonna eventually put the belt back on the guy Mox won it from in the first place, what's the point of any of it? This whole thing would've been so much cooler if it'd have been Yota Tsuji.
Probably just wanted Moxley headlining their two big US shows they had, whilst also having a title switch for Forbidden Door where usually champions retain. It definitely was the wrong choice though.
I think the Mox match was the worst, but because of Naito, he didn’t seem to care enough about the match and he seem to botch a lot too, It was a forgettable match
