When she was a student in CJM Shimla many guyzz from our parents generation had a huge crush on her 😂😂😂 I mean no doubt who could not fall for her. She was actually one of the most beautiful woman in town.
Its not all about ppl falling for her or how beautiful she is (its a bonus that shes pretty but that can fade and be in more ppl and it can be quite superficial when ppl just fall for someones looks and when someones worth is guaged from how many guys liked her cuz of her beauty) but its also about how strong she is and her choices in life,what impact her movies made, kind of life she lived and i see one hell of a human being thats badass when all the outer things are shed or even with outer things... And shes beautiful as a person from inside regardless of outside (obv shes beautiful from out side too but just saying since ppl Seem to only judge women by their beauty alone and when it fades they ignore all those things that are actually way more beautiful than just outer beauty)..
she entered the bollywood when actresses like kajol , Karishma, Madhuri, Juhi were at the peak of their careers, Aishwarya and sushmita were already very famous but still in such a competitive environment she made a place for her in Bollywood and became one of the top actresses in a very short time without any Godfather or sugar daddy ♥️♥️
Girl became an actress per accident and had zero family ties in bollywood (kapoors, Mukherjees) nor beauty pageant prize backing her (Priyanka, Aish, Sushmita). I think she was not even dreaming of becoming an actress before debuting the way the likes of Vidya or Kangana did. She is not even a great dancer to begin with. Still she managed to leave her mark in heavily nepo-driven Bollywood with what she had and gave some of the most endearing performances in hit 00's Bollywood movies like Kya Kehna, Dil Chahta Hai, CCCC, KHNH, The Hero, DHT, VZ. Sometimes I sit here and I am like we have no idea how an anomality Preity was in Bollywood back in the day.
Madhuri ,karishma , kajol, juhi. They were golden queens . Aishwarya rai and shumita sen can't compete with them your joking right. They ben filming since 1980s Aishwarya entered in 1990 her first movie Aur pyar hogya much later then those actresses. Do time research if Madhuri was not famous star she would train other actresses and give dance lessons !
Kajol Madhuri juhi all got MARRIED early after that they chose not to film. But still Madhuri did aaja nachle later after being a mom shot kalank . Her careers on gad error she couldn't train Alia butt to dance. Aishwarya and Shumita not to that level to train others . They were never that top juhi shot chalk and duster historic movie best. All those 1980s up they were Forver golden queens do to there success back then fashion was flop .
Forever Names no one can compete retire after marriage. Madhuri, Kajol Devgun, Urmulia, Juhi, Karishma . They done every rool. Won multiple awards Aishwarya Bechan as of now this hystry her films flopping. Shumita was not elected anymore after Drug overdose affair with one the directors so her name was no more for films. Bollywood all on films not beauty pagent lol
Most of my fav 2000s songs are her songs. One of the most educated actresses then -a time when an actress completing a college degree or even school for that matter.
Preity Zinta always came across as fierce and was way ahead of her time. Deepika Alia are nothing in front of Preity. Even when she did a Yashraj film Veer Zara,i read in an interview that she told Yash ji that come what may,she won't do a romantic saree sequence in rain...or a romantic dance in snow clad mountains, but somehow Yashji managed to convince her for a qawali sequence in rain which wasn't romantic and she wasn't wearing a saree. A true feminist who took stand against the wrong. ❤️

She was a feminist because she took stand against the wrong( the audio recording which turned out to be fake or the complain against the Don)... And she was never the one to go with the stereotypes of a typical heroine back in the day....
@@dancerchick this is wrong. It is very much possible to praise and uplift one woman without putting down another. You don't have to pull Deepika or any other woman down to praise Preity (and no, I'm not a blind fan of deepika, I've actually preferred Preity ever since I was a kid). That said, it was wrong for Preity to adopt the "I'm not like most girls" kind of attitude when it comes to wearing saree or doing dance scenes or whatever. That's not woman empowering that's called putting other women down by saying that they are "lesser than". Your last sentence very much did that. The point of this comment isn't to engage in a pointless youtube fight, I think you and I have better things to do. But as someone who believes in the empowerment of people, I think we should be careful with our choice of words and we should stop putting a section of people down to make us feel better or feel woke.
@@shinchannohara5621 just because she didn't want to do those scenes or wear a sari doesn't mean she thinks it bad. It's actually because she was tired of doing those kinds of things. You don't have to put words in her mouth when she said no such thing.
@@tam6753 your entire point is invalid because she didn't put down people who do those things (unless there's an example of her doing it somewhere). Saying you want to do something different isn't the same thing as putting down people who do that very thing. In order to be "I'm not like other girls", it's not about whether you ask or demand to do something different from the norm but about whether you bring down the people who do that very thing. Her wanting to break stereotypes also isn't an example of her bringing down those stereotypes.
If I remember correctly she was also remembered for her iconic Liril soap ad during her initial days. But yes she was the face of perk chocolate for the longest time.
She is very blunt and never turns back. And along with acting and her beauty what I love about her is she never signed movies where she would be used as eye candy. Her acting,comedy,thrill, dramatic she is mixture of every genre.
She used to be my favourite actress during my childhood I used to watch her films hear her songs she was and still is very beautiful and she still has a special place in my heart 😍😍😇😇💖💖

I needed to see this so much right now. I have been in and out of toxic relationship for soo long now. I guess so much of toxicity in relationships is normalised in Indian Society, but Preity Zinta's stance has really inspired me. Always choose yourself and love yourself, and when something turns inherently toxic don't fear to take a step ahead and move on from it.
Totally, I wish I had taken that stance then my life story would have been way different. Well never late than before. I dumped them, it was an physical abuse but mental abuse, I was questioning my self respect, I realized may it a husband or a bf or fiance if the person doesn't respect you for your good values then he doesn't deserve you. Nothing is more important than your self respect. Respect and love your self first to gain true from a good person.

I'm really blessed, kuch log aise musalman ko bura banate hai he is a Muslim but has lot of respect for women that's how he is raised . He is half indian half Pakistani but he Muslim.

Last month I binge watched her movies! My goodness!! What a gorgeous lady she is!!! Her dimple, her smile and unique voice...she left me amazed in every aspect. A true queen indeed.

But now I understand how Rani was such a typical blond housewife material who got adi chopra n then didn't care if she has to work towards a career or no while preity kept taking risks with IPL, staying away from bollywood etc. Now I can proudly say I love preity over Rani. Although Rani is a better actress but preity is a better human being.
