Ive always loved Karishma Kapoor, sometimes i even envied her because of my poor self esteem when i was younger, she had light eyes and skin and I was dark..🥺 but it isnt her fault. Its her natural beauty and she was a talented actress in 90s. She will always be memorable.

She actually joined bollywood to support her family financially. Her parents were broke Af. Her mom had sold all her jewelry to pay bills. So karisma started working from 16 to support her family.

As a girl in teenage.. whenever i hear Karishma Kapoor her acting in Biwi No.1 comes out...she was phenomenal in that movie

She might not be as active now but she is one of those legends who made sure to leave a trace that is non removable and will stay for way too long.

She was ahead of her time.. as 80s born i was grown up by watching her movies and the clothes she was wearing in her movies was not that revealing as compared to now but haven't seen anybody wearing those types of clothes back then. And her figure was one of the things which i with my friends used to talk about. She was an amazing and one of the top actresses of her time. I wish i can see her again on the screen.

The reason the song was so controversial was because the word was never used in any song openly nor was costume so similar to swimsuit for a mainstream A list star. Also today people use the word sexy so easily back then the usage was very rare and if not between giggles of teenagers. Not that it is wrong but it was not a common public usage word.
