My theory about Fliqpy: Fliqpy was first made to protect Flippy in the war, or at least, is a response to Flippy self defense/fear. As the time goes on and as Flippy goes in multiple wars, his triggers also multiple, and Fliqpy started to attack everyone including allies, wich is the reason why Fliqpy not only kills people arround, but is unable to know that everyone isn’t his enemy
He’s had a really messed up past and I can see why he’s so traumatized, imagine being forced to go inside of your friend’s dead body with maggots and blood. But in all seriousness, this guy has been through alot and It’s crazy because he’s actually a really nice guy.
My personal theory is that he didn’t retire, he was discharged. Probably went on a killing spree and killed all of his allies and they had to let him go (p.s it would make sense that he was forced to move to a town where everyone is seemingly very kind and no bad ever happens, to like integrate back into society or something. Or maybe the htf town is like a town specifically made for people who are dangers to other around them. That’s a fun idea too.)
"...specifically made for people who are a danger to others around them." Hmm. Interesting perspective. Seeing how stupidly idiotic the characters are to the point of killing each other, you have a point there.
As someone who has PTSD i can verify that having fits and flashbacks are not fun, you know you're not there and the situation isn't real. But it feels real, when i had my first PTSD fit I had to go to the hospital and be tranquilized because I was being even violent and tried to k!ll two nurses and a doctor, PTSD is NOT a game and people who trigger it on purpose need a swift kick in the teeth.
I always pictured Flippy as a Vietnam Vet, seeing him craft several Booby traps used in the Vietnam war in the episode “easy for you to slay”. It’s never said, but I think it’s implied that Flippy could be based off the real life grizzly bear named Wojtek who fought in WWII.
3:00 Arbsilience: "Due to what he does in the series and the way he kills the main characters, it safe to assume few things" Me: He's a very creative artist with his kills
Me: golden chainsaw goes to petunia not because of how brutal it was how creative it is they literaly used her brain as popcorn Dull machete goes to lumpy because he dies of screen which kinda sucks
I just noticed something, flippy is the only character with an origin story. Just goes on to show that he’s the most favorable character amongst the rest.
By the way, flippy obeys the law of honor, so he never kills cub and never intentionally killed disabled people (The Mole, Handy, Russel), but only inflicted injuries on them.
Yeah, when his surprise party happened and he got triggered, mole and flaky were the only ones attending it that he didn't attack. Mole, like you mentioned, is of course blind, and flaky was currently having a peanut reaction. Also, when Lumpy went deaf and turned up the helicopter sounds on his TV, triggering Flippy, you can see that Flippy still tries to warn Lumpy first instead of barging in and ambushing him, as seen by him ringing the doorbell and throwing rocks at his window. So yeah even even he goes delusional and thinks he's in the war again, he still retains his code of honor.
Flippy is my favorite character. He's so cute yet I feel so bad for the poor bear because he's so sweet and innocent but when he flips it's like a cry for help. #SaveFlippy #BringbackHTF
@@155chipmunkzHe actually got to control his self at the end, When the bulb exploded He didn't turn into his alter ego probably because he was fighting his mind before and at the time where he managed to control it He just got killed, And everything just restarts Into the new episode where he can't control it And go into a killing spree Again
Fliqpy makes me think of an embodiment variant of Flippy; an entity resembling the war side of Flippy's past. His PTSD was and is so severe, that somehow, magically, Flippy created a literal version of himself that has a conscience if its own, has malicious intents and (if true) is someone only Flippy can see. I'm such a nerd, aren't I? 🤓
It's So Sad That This Happy Tree Friends Got Cancelled... Happy Tree Friends Still Gets More Views Than Mondo Meadia's Newest Shows Like Cat Agent... #BringBackHappyTreeFriends
Now from what I’ve gathered, to add to the list of comments stating theories… Flippy gained Fliqpy due to an overly severe case of PTSD, which occurred, as we know, from the traumatic encounter with Tiger General and his Tiger Soldiers. After Flippy was discharged, he went to Happy Tree Town to start a new life, alas that didn’t quite work out. As we know he is prone to hallucinations, likely also caused by his PTSD. When Flippy flips out and Fliqpy makes his appearance, he his blinded and sees only the enemy as he saw only enemies for a long time of his life, actually all of his life except for those who Flippy served with which only allowed him to know a mere few as non-enemies. So when he sees only enemies, he attacks as if he were still in war… reason why he doesn’t attack those who are helpless/can’t run or children are because they are the only ones who can pierce the veil, as if the person doesn’t run upon first sight of Fliqpy, as I think, in his mind dings a little lightbulb and he thinks those are civilians. Which as a soldier, you wouldn’t attack, so he doesn’t attack them. And children for obvious reasons, no four year old is gonna be on a battlefield shooting people down.
This is what we all came for, to see the whole story of Flippy's stories, skills that he used to kill characters, and even why he retired. You did amazing 👏 💜
I've known about this series since November of 2018, and I have to say: I've never given the amount of interest in HTF, than I have with any other things I grew up with. This world of cartoon animals that suffer very brutal and excessive deaths scared me a lot, yet I found myself obsessed with this show and it's plot. Out of all the characters in this show, I have a few favorites, but #1 will always have to go to Flippy. His intense past and personality are very traumatizing and unique. I feel so bad for him. Personally, he looks so adorable 😊😊 I love his 2 very different personas. Also, the reason why I also adore this cute, yet oftenly-hostile bear, he reminds me of an old friend who suffered a similar state of being as Flippy. 😢 Man, I wish I could just give Flippy a big hug. ❤ He doesn't deserve to live like this. (I'm sorry if I'm being too sensitive and vulnerable about this) 😬 Love you all! 💕💕💕
There's alot of good points but I have to disagree with some. Flippys been in several wars I would assume Vietnam, WW1. I think his flipped out side is still a soldier. A soldier that follows the code of not harming children or enemies that are entirely unable to fight back. This is the reason why he doesn't kill the baby nor the construction guy with no hands. It's hard to believe that Fliqpy would kill his own allies since a bit of his PTSD comes from seeing his allies die.
I think that he didn't retire, but rather his higher-ups discovered his mental illnesses and discharged him. Whether it was an honorable or dishonorable discharge, I'm not sure. Most would think dishonorable, but considering he has a (mostly) comfy and content life in the country, I'm not too certain.
But I have a theory: After the events of O:TB (Operation Tiger Bomb), Another war happened between the enemy army and Flippy's army (again) and the enemy army killed most of Flippy's army, and the enemy army devastated most of the land where the war took place. This is why Flippy's much more easier to trigger, as if he thinks of war, he thinks about all the lives he lost in that war. We can see this also happening in O:TB, as Flippy accidentally killed both his friends and is probably traumatized, causing these 2 wars to give him PTSD. And as for the other war, it might have happened, because we can see his war flashbacks and compare it to O:TB, they never showed the same thing as the flashbacks. (It's a good theory if you ask me.)
Well he actually was a helicopter pilot and he had friends on it, there plan was to drop a bomb on Greenit (not a real place) from Everwilde (not real either) but they were shot down by a Greenish Missile and Flippy was the only survivor
I think Flippy when he is "Flipped out" sees disabled people or children as the citizens who just try to survive and doesn't kill them, but kills other healthy or adult characters who he seems as enemy soldiers.
i always thought maybe flippy was a failed experiment like fliqpy was supposed to be who flippy was but failed i feel fliqpy was meant to be a super soldier given how he can use literal cookies as weapons he uses his surroundings as defense not letting his guard down he was meant to be a super soldier but during the process something went wrong at first they thought nothing happened and made flippy a private sending him with his two friends mouse ka-boom and sneaky the events of tiger bomb played out and after when flippy snapped out of it and returned to base they realize what had happened and had promoted him to Sargent as they realize it had worked but not the way they thought it would but it was good enough but over time fliqpy started getting more hostile seeing his dead allies around him realizing that flippy killed both his friends he though everyone was the enemy team so he killed allies i know that flippy did it on accident but fliqpy is probably something that studys the behaviour of flippy and learns from it and wont listen to reasoning giving the fact he tries to kill regular flippy in double wammy but he does this to make himself like true flippy so he can actually be what he was meant to be a super soldier so eventually flippy realizes war is not the right place for him or fliqpy will kill more and more soldiers.. so he goes home to rest retiring.. but he had gained ptsd and anything that reminds him of war will make the failed super soldier flippy come out and kill everyone thinking their still in war tell me if you like my theory :D
Operation Tiger Bomb was most likely back when Flippy was a pretty young fella. but subsequently after making a Pizza out of the Blue Tiger General’s face, he got drafted into another war that is most likely a combination of the ‘Nam War and a war that involved Flamethrowers which caused him to mentally become a “Demon Core” where whenever something triggers his PTSD his alter-ego Fliqpy is unleashed causing a mass-murder that ends when something that reminds of who he truly is (a calm gentle soul trying to live a life free of accidental murder caused by his own PTSD) calms him down.
1:55 Yes the 3 Arrows Symbol is the Symbol of a Sargent, And He has Dogtags, Which of Course Soldiers have, With Names of there Fallen Allies, Its Interesting! 6:24 Exactly, And in the Episode “Double Whammy” Flippy had Therapy/Councling from… Lumpy… Why Lumpy was a Therapist/Counciler Im not sure… But I get Councling, And its Helpful, Also Flippy had a Fight with Fliqpy in that Episode! Flippy is My Favorite Character in HTF {Happy Tree Friends} He is Slightly Relatable to, I dont have PTSD, And I was never in a War, But have have a Stress, Sadness, Anxiety, Anger, Meter, When it Reachs 20… I’ll do… Regrettable Things… Like Try to Harm/Kill People {I dont get to 20 Much} 0-5 Is ok 6-10 is getting Bad {With Mild Bad Ideas, Like Stabbing or Shooting} 11-15 is Bad Ideas {Like Chainsaw, Throat Sl!ting, Caving in Skulls, Dr0wn!ng, N*ck Sn@pping, Burning, W00d-Ch!ppers, Ch0k!ng, Beating, Bl0wing a Persons Brains Out…} I had to Censor all of that, Because its Worrying… I was also $*!€!d@l in the Past… Im ok Now {I like My Life Now} Mental Health is Important to Me, So If you have Mental Health Problems… Please… Speak a Person you Trust! {Flippy/Fliqpy is One of Those Characters that I like in a Slightly Relatable Way!}
Also, what's up with the army in HTF? Flippy worked with a chameleon and a mouse before, but in his flashbacks, all of the soldiers are bears. One even looks like him. Are they army made clones? Perhaps he sees all the soldiers as himself in his flashbacks. Maybe some of the wars he fought in might have been bear exclusive, and that was one of his relatives. Do the killed soldiers come back to life? Did Flippy have to look at his resurrected friends remembering that he, or his actions killed them? Did he always forget afterwards, or did that start happening over time? Either way, I'm pretty sure the army used his condition for their benefit, until it became too much for them to handle. The deeper I think about it, the worse I feel for him. Poor guy. He really needs a break. 💚
Did you know that Mouse Ka Boom is deaf? Here’s my theory on how he became deaf. Flippy and Sneaky once challenged Mouse Ka Boom to stick as much dynamite in his ears as possible but they exploded making his ears bleed causing him to become deaf what do you think?
Amazing video, as always! Im sure it took you a long time and a lot of research. I love your videos!❤and Flippy too, hes so cute💚💚(poor guy, he just wants to relax)
Personally, I have my own opinion of what happened in Flippy's past. (I literally wrote a whole backstory of him lmao but I'm not gonna say the whole thing because it's hella long). But I think that Flippy might've (prepare to beat me up) fallen in love with one of his enemies when he was at war 👁️👄👁️ so weird ik but that COULD be a possibility- *Okay now I'm just spewing out trash-*
Well I have my own theory about flippy past Theory: fliqpy is the ego of flippy father who abused him a alot Hence this is why he’s so scared of his evil side
Fact time everything Flippy goes through is believe to ptsd for the most part. Soldiers get so traumatized that even fireworks can trigger them into flashbacks of the war. It's why for all the blood and gore it is I respect Happy Tree Frieds for keeping some things more realistic. It may not be a 1 to 1 but Flippys experience is very believable as well as being super dark.
He made a „theory” and made it into a FACT. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! This is the most accurate description of Flippy’s Past. Lookin at it Nowadays, It almost all seems CANON. This Theory is Less like a „Theory” and more like An Accurate Description of What Has Happened to Flippy Over The Years. These Events happened throughout his life, and are a VERY Accurate Timeline Of Events. (A.T.O.E.) You have successfuly turned a Theory into a VERY Factual A.T.O.E. Great Job. Cheers. God bless you.
Suggestion (and it might be hard): that you should make a video on reason why splendid and splendont have beef with each other so basically why splendont hates splendid from mirror mirror
Something I wonder is why does he still wear a military outfit, if the war triggers him? Some people think he's just on leave, but I don't know. Why would they still use him if he's triggered so easily? It's a puzzle.
Flaky and Mole would be considered disabled (Mole is blind, and Flaky was having an allergic reaction which made her immobile and defenseless). Handy also would be disable, as he doesn’t have hands. I’m not sure why Flaky wasn’t killed at the end of Random Acts of Silence though (could’ve been killed of screen maybe?)
I thought he didn’t kill Cub so that he could get his hands on the tricycle then smash the tricycle to take the tires to slice up the cops and then kill Cub after words.
HTF game app (not sure if its cannon) Bullseye in the last boss battle The player has to defeat Flippy/Fliqpy inside a mine, Fliqpy will show his two gun in shoot the cave Roof to makes the rocks fall atop of us and loose our life bar.
@@harrisonchristie6783 "Mirror Mirror" seems to be a Movie/TV show that takes place in the HTF world, plus there is almost nothing that could be pieced together about Splendid's past.
Why he retired? He maybe didnt retire, but was probably medically discharged due to his ptsd. Maybe honorably discharge due to operation kaboom and taking out the enemies. But what makes more sense is medically discharged
i think its just a cartoon thing to show that he served in the army but from a story standpoint, i think he wears it because he is proud of his service in the army. his house has lots of war related things, so he clearly doesn't hide it.
@@sketchbook_worm im aware of the fact its just a cartoon thing lol, just wanted to know if anybody had a idea for why he does wear it. Your theory makes sense, though
