For several seasons on 'One On One' Kelly Perine would steal scenes as Duane, Flex Washington's best friend. Probably the most forgotten and yet “not forgettable” Black sidekick in TV history. He’s obviously extremely hardworking but still never given full credit for his talent. I’m even mad at myself that I didn’t know his actual name because I clearly knew of him.

The problem with this guy is that he was too good. Guys like him are dangerous. You really have to be on point because he's so quick and so sharp. He definitely would have been great in movie rolls. He'll always work although I don't think he'll ever get the accolades he really deserves.

@@Monkee101 They were Not and Trying to bring in Ray-J and Brandy did not help either. They should have kept the show based in Baltimore where they all could go to college. Give brinna and Arnaz obstacles of the typical break up and get back to together type of thing. Spirit finds a good guy and have them solve adult issues with Flex and Duane popping up from time to time. BUT THEY FUCKED IT UP.

Kelly prine was funny with the antics. Its one thing to just tell jokes but when your actions leave you in tears is a true talent. Example is the episode in one on one when flex enrolled briana in school & at the end flex & duane had a dance off with the break dancing students. If you know, you know!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I used to looovvveee me some Kelly Perrine when I was younger (although we're about the same age.) I crushed in him BIG TIME (and actually still do.) He's still as handsome and talented as ever.
