I got into ioi because of jyp and pd 101 I liked ioi because they have a concept that is very common but it's like they changed that, ioi had alot of talented trainnes from everywhere. I got into the show mostly because of somi because she was on sixteen
Probably because of Somi...i was supporting her since Sixteen...and then when i know that she'll be in Pd 101...i supported her again😍So Probably she's my fav...along with Yeonjung💜
Elizabeth L it was bound to happen though. Companies are were never big fans of IOI. As much as we wanted them to stay and how much YMC had so many plans for them as well but never pushed through.
It's not a mistake. They didn't choose to disband, you egg. The members were from different companies and the contract with Produce 101 was for a year. It's not like they made a conscious decision to disband on their own. Did you even watch the video?
Because they weren't given a chance to do so remember SNSD were famous for ITNW but they exploded in 2009 with Gee for 9 months of promotion I.O.I provided promising results
I hate how people call for an ioi reunion and but they don’t even support the branched off groups like weki Meki gugudan and dia edit : ok y’all - if you want an ioi reunion and complain about one , you love the girls im guessing . If you live the girls you should support them in their branched off groups !! Dia is close to disbandment and gugudan hasn’t had a comeback in over a year . You think a reunion will happen if this continues ?? edit 2: there’s a difference between stanning and supporting :)))

Pledis does really good in this series, like pledis really knew how to pick them. Wish I could say the same for promoting them pristin could've made it. R.I.P pristin and after school😭
Pristin was awesome, but most members didn't want to continue anymore as singers the only one are now in hinapia. I wonder if the other members didn't want to continue anymore because of pledis😬
@@Sunflowerbounce kyla said she's working on stuff xiyeon I know is going through some mental battles she's having against herself and kulkyung pulled out of the ioi reunion the two remaining members of pristin are locked in pledis's basement never to be seen anytime soon and nayoung's company made her a model basically so it's pretty clear the other members a part from kyla are in a funk right now😥
What about Yeonjung? Yeonjung's group WJSN/Cosmic Girls were the most successful out of all the Post-IOI groups, in terms of sales they are more successful than Chungha and Somi but when it comes to popularity its Somi annd Chungha.
i think op means when people first "discover" IOI (like people who don't stan wjsn, weki meki, etc) and they see the members, they usually think "wait is that somi?" or "is that chungha?" first
I.O.I was a forced to be reckoned with, most of the members became Main Dancers/Rappers/Vocalists of their respective groups after they disbanded, before Loona/SuperM, Produce groups were the Avengers of Kpop
We real Mine's we know "what happened to Nine Muses", and tbh, I don't care about other people know them now, since I know for sure they don't care about the girls and support them when they where still active
Some ioi stans literally don’t like to acknowledge that yeonjung and wjsn are doing FAR better then the other groups. So many thought they were gonna be the “flops” but now that they’re staying relevant and making a name for themselves it’s all of a sudden “wjsn who”
I remember when Kyulkyung was Pinky🙁❣️She was my favorite along with Chaeyoun Edit: She still is, I support them outside ioi but when they were on ioi they were my favorite

just accept the fact that it is actually rigged not only the debut line up are upset but also the trainees who clearly have a chance of debuting just didnt make it as well nothing is fair and real here
@@LordPlainProductions But they were right, PD101 S1 was the only season without rigged members in the final line-up. The rigging part happened during the early eliminations (for odd reasons), it's kinda obvious that there was no rigging since the general public was satisfied with the group's final line-up.
Fact! As of now, I think WJSN is the most successful out of the groups,, but if soloists are included,, Chungha is really the most successful one.. just facts But we all hope that they ALL would be successful
Me too and when asked by American or Canadian media Somi Toronto Ontario region & Dallas-Fort Worth Chungha will have to answer the questions because they're both from the United States and Canada without the Korean to English Translator.
Wjsn is doing fine and so was Pristin before Pledshit fucked that up. The rest I don't see why they aren't more popular but at least they've stayed afloat for a few years to put out some nice discographies.
People dont have to support every group in existence. If people dont like the songs of all the groups you mentioned, they dont have to support it. I loved all the songs IOI came out with but didnt like the songs of the groups you mentioned - so I'm gonna want and support IOI. You guys dont realize people have every right to like and dislike what they want

It was confirmed that the agencies who rigged the show, their trainees had already got eliminated on the first elimination of the episode of pd101 s1....the rest of the show was fair. So I dont see why they cant comeback when, thier agencies or themselves isnt part of it. Imma stick to waiting for their reunion.😊
I'm disappointed Yeonjung's debut with WJSN wasn't mentioned when she left ioi temporarily..and her group was introduced poorly..she and her group was doing well like chungha.. she won mnet's V-1 vocal queen..she did lots of osts and her group is rising every year they even made 3 comebacks in 2019..their latest album as you wish has reached #1 on melon..and their album sales is on the top 5..BTW FYI Yeonjung's one of the MAIN VOCAL of WJSN not a lead vocal.

Kwon Eunbin of clc would be in I.O.I but cube decided to announced her being part of clc before the finals and cause of it she was eliminated, but somi and she are like soul mates

Love all the girls but I'm more of a Yeonjung bias. ❤️❤️❤️ I've been supporting WJSN ever since Yeonjung joined. I'm happy that although she's the least popular member in IOI, at least, her group is doing really well rn. All those hates she got before took a toll on her and affected her confidence. Glad she's happier and getting recognition now. 😊
She ain't the least popular member, she's literally ranked #1 on their profile by votes and she's the most known out of the group because of her voice. Everyone loves her tbh, as they should.
LavenderChilde chungha loves and misses ioi so she would want a reunion. plus she and most of ioi (without somi and yeonjung) were originally gonna have a reunion in december but then the whole mnet manipulation scandal blew up so it was cancelled

All of these groups were active/still popular when I first got into Kpop!Mblaq was one of the first groups I stanned. I'm so sad they're gone and that I never got to experience a comeback with SS501

Trainees that participated in the Produce series shed tears that Mnet caused. The tears in an episode’s worth is probably a gallon worth of tears. I just hope that they sort out the whole voting manipulation and X1 come back. Izone needs to comeback too! Fly High, One It, and WIZONE! 🦋

IOI was the only girl group that had the same energy that Girls' Generation had. I will never not bring this up when talking about IOI. I miss them so much but it is what it is. Maybe SM's new girl group will have the same vibe cuz I'm so tired of the girl crush movement.
Girl very true? The talents and especially the individuality! They can be known individually but also have that awesome group chemistry plus the fact that all members are great at their own specialties!

I've been following Gugudan intensely since I started getting into KPOP early last year. I havent listened to that many groups yet but Gugudan's musicality and incredible vocals kept me hooked. I understand how disasterous their debut was but damn are their later albums super underrated imo. A few days ago their YT Channel finally updated after 10 months of nothing and leaving 2019 with no release others than Sejoeng's angelic return with her solo "Tunnel". Here's to hoping Gugudan 2020 comeback.
Really appreciate the cover over IOI who was and still is my favourite group of all time. However it was unfortunate that some details were glossed over or misrepresented in this video. The biggest one for me would be how IOI is still a creation from the Korean and International public’s votes as the investigations has found that while manipulation was present, it only affected the elimination and not the final group. It’s also sad that things like Pledis’s mistreatment/ forced hiatus on PRISTIN wasn’t mentioned or how Somi went missing for almost 2 years instead of just moving companies other. The IOI contract was also slated for 2 full groups and 2 units which was why the 4 members returned to their companies (which Yeonjung wasn’t mentioned for an odd reason). But thank you for mentioning Jellyfish’s lack of support for gugudan’s career. Despite that I really appreciate the wrap up especially the segment about Downpour being the perfect ending and I really hope we still get to see IOI again. In the meantime I hope more people support the individual careers of all the members (including their acting careers).
ioi were my first group and got me into so many other groups, when pick me was first released i saw it and waited for the first episode of pd these girls mean so much to me i love them so much 🥺💕 the best introdution to kpop
Unpopular opinion: IOI's disbandment was good for the girls since their careers are still continuing on. It may not be as successful but theyre growing on their own and thats okay.

I think the fatal mistake they did is they don't know how to use Sejeong and Mina popularity in Gugudan, Even Sejeong doesn't have a member to support her vocals, i know they have Nayoung, but she can't use her full potential bcs of their cutesy concept and her vocal is a mature type one so yeah that's about it
I didn't watch the first season of produce 101 but when i.o.i debuted instantly became fan! they released some AMAZING songs and are so talented and charismatic! I was really sad when they disbanded...but I'm glad they're all doing well and I just wish the best for all of them and hopefully they will have a reunion
